This tour is predominantly aimed at experiencing the towns and scenery of the Amalfi Coast more than interior visits to historic sites.

Amalfi Coast
Enjoy a relaxing drive trough the Amalfi Coast making photo stops along the way. Discover Positano the "Jewel of the Amalfi Coast" Explore Amalfi,the main town of the Coast and the birthplace of Limoncello. Be enchanted by the stunning views from the hilltop of Ravello. The itinerary can be certainly customised according to your needs,but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller /wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities. Pompeii Archaeological Park
The day will start with a drive by the Sorrento Coast. After about a 45 minute drive, we'll arrive at the ruins of Pompeii, the first stop on this breathtaking day tour where you will have the opportunity to see one of the most important archeological sites in the world! Pompeii was part of an ancient Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Either licensed guides can be arranged ahead of time (additional cost) or you can visit the site on your own. However you choose to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be in awe as you see the remnants of this 1st century city which offer some insight into the Roman life that came to a premature stop there on 24 August AD 79. After this amazing historical experience you can choose to continue our tour to Herculaneum or visit a local family Winery located at the foot of Mt.Vesuvius

5.00My husband and I had the pleasure of two experiences with Nico from Umberto Limos Positano. He was our driver as we spent a full day exploring the towns of the Amalfi coast. Nico was prompt, very courteous, well prepared and knowledgeable. We felt extremely comfortable in his company. That day was a highlight of our trip. Nico also provided efficient and friendly transportation for us to Pompeii and to Naples. In all, it was an excellent experience for us.

5.00This is our second year in a row using Umbertos limo service Both years we have had Nico as our driver. He is a wonderful passionate man when it comes to his love for his country Italy the information that he shared with us about the country and its wonderful history was absolutely amazing. I have family in Caserta so we use Umberto service to drive to my family’s home. Nico accompanied myself and my friend to my to my family’s home, sat had espresso and desserts with us and even help translate as Nico and one of my other cousin spoke English very well it was just a wonderful experience and my family was very fond of Nico my friend and I returned to Italy this past November 2025 and again Nico was our driver this time he was able to pick us up at the train and Naples. Take us to Sorrento. Then another day of our stay took me back to visit my family and again he stayed and had a wonderful time with us He truly felt like part of my family. Our last day in Sorrento, we had the privilege of having the owner Umberto take us back to Naples to the train. This was the first time I met Umberto in person as we have done business and I have recommended my Travel Agent at home and other friends, his business. We have spoken Umberto several times via WhatsApp not only is he a gentleman via text and on the phone. He is even more of a gentleman in person. I have never dealt with a more classy car service business, and I have used many in my time nUmberto‘s limo all his drivers are professional, but I always choose Nico. My friends have had other drivers and all have raved about their knowledge, experience and love of their country. This was the best way in my opinion to see Italy in a day or at least the southern part of Almafi Sorrento and Positano. I cannot wait for my next adventure and I definitely be using Umberto Limos. 5.00We booked a day tour with Umberto. We wanted to see Pompeii and as much as we could before returning to our cruise ship. Leo picked us up on time from the dock. We had a wonderful day with Leo driving us to Pompeii where we met our tour guide that Umberto booked for us-and had a great tour- saw so much- perfect pace- very knowledgeable and friendly! Leo booked us a fantastic lunch- we saw and shopped Sorrento- and got us back to the port with plenty of time.We never felt rushed and had a perfect day. Thank you!

5.00We had been to Sorrento in 2014- but the family members with us had never been. So we needed a private driver for 2 days to take us around to the sights. We got the best - Leonardo (Leo) Muscariello. He was punctual, professional and polished. A delight to be around. We all loved him !

5.00Our private Amalfi Coast tour with Pasquale and Alessandro was absolutely fantastic, even with the rain! Both were not only excellent drivers but also wonderful guides — knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly patient throughout the day. Despite the weather, Pasquale and Alessandro made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They provided umbrellas and water, which was such a thoughtful touch and really showed how much they care about their guests’ experience. Their driving was smooth and safe along the winding coastal roads, and they shared interesting stories and local insights that made the journey even more special. We were able to enjoy the stunning views, charming towns, and hidden gems of the Amalfi Coast at a relaxed pace without ever feeling rushed. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly made the day unforgettable. Even with the rain, it turned out to be one of our favorite experiences in Italy — all thanks to Pasquale and Alessandro. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a personalized and memorable Amalfi Coast adventure!

5.00We had an amazing experience thanks to our wonderful driver Leo. We were traveling with my mom, who has limited mobility, through the rigorous terrain of the Amalfi coast. Leo was a saint, doing everything in his power to help her and make her comfortable. We cannot thank him enough and also a very special thank you to Umberto who allowed Leo to continue driving for us for the rest of our tour!! Cannot recommend more highly ❤️

5.00We didn't do a tour with them but used them for all of our private transfers (7-8 in total). I spoke to several car companies before choosing them and so glad I did! It was super easy to deal with them. Communication was seamless and prompt. The cars were clean and the drivers were always on time. In most cases they would arrive much before time and would wait patiently for us. Umberto made our travel smooth and stress free!

5.00My wife and I booked a private Amalfi Coast tour this past week in August and had an amazing experience! Our driver and friend, Niconcello, was the perfect guide. He knew all the best picture spots along the way, helped us capture the perfect shots and was SO passionate about the history of the Amalfi Coast. Nico also recommended different attractions and things to see in each of the Amalfi towns, he even called and got us the perfect lunch reservation in Ravello. What a wonderful experience.

5.00Our tour was absolutely one of the best we’ve ever had. The Sorrento coast was stunning and Pompeii was a page out of history. The only thing better than the sights was our guide Giuseppe. He made us feel like a friend and his personality was easy going and humorous. We highly recommend Umberto Limos. Grazie Giuseppe!
