We will go to the Aviary on the island of Barú, which has 3 ecosystems, 170 species of birds and more than 1,700 specimens. 5.00Went with my sister and a friend. Enrique was a great escort, leading us through the Aviary. Saw many beautiful birds. He was also very responsive pre-trip, answering all of my questions so we were well prepared for our adventure.
Pleasant, informative trip with terrific sightings of birds.

5.00Prompt pickup at our hotel A long, not very scenic drive to the island Aviary, but our tour guide provided interesting insights on Columbian and local culture as we passed through various sectors of the metro area. A beautiful nicely cared for Aviary, a leisurely walk through, maybe two hours. A couple of rest stops along the way. Sections of the Aviary were representative of different climate zones, complete with bird species appropriate to the zones.

5.00What a beautiful place to visit to see all kinds of birds and wildlife. We took a shore excursion from Royal Caribbean in Cartagena. We saw lots of macaws, toucans, iguanas, flamingos etc. It's a leisurely walk through the aviary.
