Custom tour designed for you and where your interests are. We are not on a schedule and can even adapt as we go depending upon what we find on your special day.
I am a local historian and naturalist who has lived in the area for over 50 years. I consider myself an interpreter of nature adding color to the already stunning beauty you'll see. We'll concentrate on the myriad wildlife, the diverse biology, and incredible geology of the Rockies. We'll also get insight into what it might have been like for early pioneers and lodge keepers as well as indigenous people like the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute.
My tours are completely flexible so if you want to hike for 3 or 4 miles, great! Or if you just want sit back and relax and enjoy the view that's fine too! Either way we'll stop often to photograph and talk about the amazing sights.

Best Three-Hour Morning Custom Personalized Private Tour: This tour begins with you and your party of up to 4 people being picked up at your lodging in Estes Park or at the Estes Park Visitor Center on 500 Big Thompson Ave. If you like we’ll make a few short stops to view historical sites and look for wildlife in the Estes Valley before heading into Rocky Mountain National Park. In winter our destination is Bear Lake for breathtaking snowy scenery or maybe a short snowshoe walk in the forest! In summer our destination is Trail Ridge Road the highest continuous road in the US. Both tours include plenty of stops for wildlife viewing, photography and a short hike as you and the time allow.

5.00We recently spent six amazing and unforgettable hours touring RMNP with Bruce. He conveniently picked our group of four at our hotel and it was immediately clear that Bruce is very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the park and nature. We were concerned that six hours might be too long, but the time absolutely flew by. Bruce is very accommodating in terms of making the tour personalized. We spoke several days before the trip so he knew that we wanted to hike (in the surprise snow!) and Bruce showed up with a plan that allowed us to hike and see so many beautiful sites in the park without anyone in our group having the responsibility of driving. Truly an awesome experience with what I would call an Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park expert. Highly recommend!

5.00Bruce was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable and in tune with nature and the cycle of animal life. I am from Colorado and been here many times but today I learned more than I could have imagined! 5.00We had the privilege of going with Ron. What a great guide. He was so patient, catered to what we wanted to see and experience, and above all helped make this experience memorable. I wanted to surprise my husband and he took it upon himself to make sure we found the perfect spot. From booking to the end, it was all so easy and clear communication. Highly recommend! I also spoke with Bruce, the owner, over the phone and he answered all my questions, very professional and friendly.
