Enjoy a 10-hour private day trip to enjoy the beauty of the Cajon del Maipo valley and Embalse el Yeso with round-trip transportation from your hotel. Take a scenic walk along the lagoon. Drive through the valley stopping at the best viewpoints and for short walks to see waterfalls. Visit the prestigious Concha y Toro Winery and tour its vineyards and mansion, then finish with an included wine tasting, where you'll sip on red and white varieties. Picnic breakfast is included.

Cajon del Maipo
We start off our day with private pickup services from your hotel and begin our drive towards South-East Santiago and the Andes mountains. The trip takes us to the Maipo Valley offering us great views over the Andes foothills and the Maipo River.
Embalse El Yeso
Enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley and the drive to the Andes taking us up to 2500 m/8000 ft. When in Embalse el Yeso, go on a small walk; about 2 km/ 1.3 miles bordering the lagoon to take in the views and obtain great photos. With a bit of luck you will get to observe condors, eagles and wild foxes in their habitat. After the walk, enjoy a nice picnic in the outdoors overlooking the mountains.

He was an outstanding tour leader—knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a memorable day. Mauricio’s expertise really brought the tour to life, providing fascinating insights into the region and its history. He went above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and tailored the experience to our group. The lunch he arranged was absolutely delicious, adding a wonderful touch to the day. The breathtaking views of the Andes, coupled with the exceptional wine tasting at Concha Y Toro, made this tour unforgettable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. 4.00This tour offers incredible views, however there is lots of driving involved on narrow and winding roads. Our driver Christian was an expert and made us feel very safe. We were open to learning more about Chile’s history and Christian had lots of information to share. He took us to a cute town for lunch where we had some delicious food from a food truck. The wine tasting and tour at concho y toro was a nice way to end the day.

5.00Just completed this tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. The views around the lake in the Andes was spectacular. We decided to not do the wine tour. By making this decision enabled us to spend more time in the mountains. For us it was a great decision. Our driver was Juan. He was a great guy to spend the day with. He was enthusiastic about everything and made sure we had a good time. I recommend this tour. Hopefully if you book it you will get Juan as your guide.

5.00This tour was amazing! Mauricio our tour guide went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He brought my husband and I hiking to see the lake and had a great lunch and delicious wine after at Concha y Toro. Would highly recommend this tour!

5.00Beautiful drive from Santiago, Chile through the various lovely communities of the Maipo Valley. Juan was an excellent tour guide and Patricio was very helpful with tour details. Beautiful landscapes with mining sites near by. Interesting tour and great wine-tasting at Concha y Toro Winery and great ice cream at the artsy chocolate house. A nice way to explore highlights in the Andes Mountains.

5.00It was a great trip. Our guide Christian was very reliable and knowledgeable. He gave a very interesting and detailed introduction to Chile's history, agricultural development, birds and plants. He even took us to a large supermarket when he heard that we wanted to eat cherries. We had a great time and were lucky to have such a good guide like Christian.

5.00A delightful tour, full of beautiful landscapes and with a very friendly, prepared and attentive guide (Christian). Everything perfect. I especially recommend asking Christian to try the empanadas in San José de Maipo.

5.00Our driver/guide Juan was wonderful! Great driver, personable, knowledgeable. We enjoyed the drive through the Andes seeing one breathtaking view after another. Touring the winery was fun, our guide there was entertaining, the grounds were stunning and the wine tasting quite good. We also want to give a big shout out to Patricio from Huaso Tours, when our flight to Santiago had a significant delay en route. He monitored the situation and made sure we could do our tour at a different time.

5.00It was an amazing experience!! The guide speaks Portuguese and various tips and is very inquisitive. The places are amazing and the vineyard is wonderful.
