During the hike, one can witness Aruba's diverse flora and fauna. Feel the refreshing sea breeze from the East side of the Island. Additionally, you can capture unique pictures of the stunning scenery.
At the Natural Pool, Conchi, you will be able to swim/snorkel. Be the first to get there before it gets crowded!
At Boca Ketu you might even see a leather back turtle's nest. It's the most secluded and isolated beach.
During the hike, there will be Aruban snacks offered free of charge.
If you need to take breaks during the hike, just let me know!

The hiking distance is about 5km, 2.5km to the Natural Pool, Conchi, and 2.5km back. We will also pass by by Daimari Beach, Boca Keto, and Moro. Before getting to Conchi, we will get a chance to walk through the dunes. The hike from Daimari Beach to Boca Keto is about 45 mins.
Boca Ketu
When hiking to the Natural Pool, Conchi, we will pass by Boca Ketu. When we make our way back, we can swim for a bit if the sea is calm. The hike from Boca Keto to the Natural Pool, Conchi, will take 45 mins.

5.00Howard was an amazing guide! He explained the history of the park and the area! He provided an understanding of the community and the food. He was thoughtful and shared his love of the island and our safety in nature!

5.00It was a beautiful hike. Howard is an excellent guide. The terrain is a little steep, so wear good shoes. Howard provides water and a banana.

5.00We had a fantastic hike in the park with Howie as our tour guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Aruba and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Our conversation went far beyond what we saw on the trail. We also learned about the island’s government, culture, and history. Howie was personable, polite, and encouraged us to take our time exploring. We never felt rushed and truly appreciated the relaxed pace. I highly recommend this hike to anyone wanting to experience this beautiful country on a deeper, more meaningful level.

5.00My husband and I did this hike with Howard on February 22, 2026. Howard offered us the opportunity to be picked up at 6 AM to miss the crowds and enjoy the sunrise. we were not disappointed. He picked us up at our hotel and was right on time. Once at the park the scenery and sunrise were beautiful. Howard was an excellent guide. he was attentive to our needs, making sure the pace was right as we are in our mid 60s. He shared interesting information about the park, including its history, plants, and animals. The natural pool was not overcrowded and was a great snorkeling experience with Howard’s guidance. Plenty of colorful fish in a truly unique environment. In addition to being a great guide, Howard took about 20 photos of us and provided us a link to download them following the hike. To top things off, he treated us to a local snack from a popular bakery on the way back to our hotel. Thank you Howard for a memorable morning in Aruba.!!

5.00My husband and I were very interested in visiting the national park, but were a bit intimidated by reading about the roads going into it and trying to figure out what might work. We found Howard on TripAdvisor and that seemed like a great solution. It was! Howard met us at a local bakery and drove us into the park, where we parked and hiked along the coastline. We ended up at the pool, Conchi. It was a very rough surf day, so it was not a super day to be at the pool, but my husband was able to swim there.This was an awesome way to experience the park! Howard is so helpful and friendly and provided so much info about the park and Aruba overall. We did this our first day on the island, so he also gave us some great tips on things to do and places to eat for the remainder of our trip. Highly recommend hiking with Howard!

5.00We had an enjoyable day hiking in the National Park with Howard. He made sure we had water and walked at a comfortable pace for everyone in our party. The water was rough at the pools so only 2 of us got in. The other tour groups were not allowed to do this as the national park person knew that Howard would make sure we were safe. We got to see a heard of wild goats and some endangered owls. He even took us to the grocery store for some beer to take to the beach, which he dropped us off at and we took a taxi back to . Overall a great experience

5.00I can’t say enough great things about this hiking experience inside Arikok National Park. The views were absolutely amazing, and Howie was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history, explaining everything we were seeing along the way. Throughout the hike, it truly felt like we were getting a premium experience compared to the large group tours. Having the hike be private with just my girlfriend and me made it even more special. Howie even brought his camera and took great photos, which was an awesome bonus. We also stopped at the natural pool, which was a lot of fun. We got to snorkel and feed some of the fish that call the pool home. From pickup to drop-off, Howie’s knowledge and kindness made the entire experience smooth, personal, and extremely memorable. When we return to Aruba, we will absolutely be booking with Howie again to show us even more of the incredible sights the island has to offer.

5.00We are a couple in our 70s and joined Howie on the Private Aruba National Park Hiking Tour and Natural Pool Swimming in February. Howie was a terrific guide, very informative and knowledgeable about the area and various other Aruba related topics. We utilized trekking poles that were very helpful and Howie allowed us to hike at our own speed. While a bit challenging, the hike was enjoyable and doable for older folks like us. The pool at the end of the hike was amazing with plenty of fish, many quite large, and the snorkeling equipment Howie brought along worked perfectly. We didn’t jump in off the rocks, but that looked like fun. It should be noted that, at times, the pool may be closed in the event of strong waves that wash over the rocks. All in all, a great day and highly recommended

5.00Howard was a fabulous tour guide! He was punctual, communicative, extremely knowledgeable of the island’s history and in navigating us to the natural pool at the pace we desired. He took photographs along the tour which captured the beauty of the island and will be great memories for us. He had water, snacks, sunscreen and snorkeling gear available. We Highly recommend taking his personal tour!

5.00Uncle Howie felt like family! He shared his love and knowledge of hiking in Aruba, flora, fauna, history, animals, geography and Arubian culture and family life. We visited 2 beaches not accessible by vehicle- very cool. Hiked sand dunes and hillsides. The third beach has a natural tidal pool for swimming and snorkeling. Howie provided snorkeling 🤿 and snacks and water. He takes professional photos of our adventure and shares them with you later. He paced the hike comfortably for these older folks- much appreciated! Don’t hesitate to book with Uncle Howie. Did I mention it was private? Just 2 of us for $80 each. Did I mention I saw rainbow fish while snorkeling? Yup. The best day. Thank you Uncle Howie! Will be hiking with you again!
