  Even though we didn’t end up seeing the Northern Lights, Danny was great! From the start, Danny was absolutely amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely committed to giving us the best possible chance to see the aurora. Due to unavoidable circumstances (car problems and then the weather), the tour had to be rescheduled twice. Each time, Danny communicated clearly and handled everything professionally, always prioritizing the likelihood of a successful viewing. He even delayed his own family vacation so he could still take us out after the reschedules, which really speaks to how much he cares about his guests and their experience. On the night we finally went out, the skies were clear, but the lights just didn’t cooperate. Still, it was not for lack of effort. Danny drove around for over three hours, checking multiple locations and doing everything possible to try to find activity. When it became clear it wasn’t going to happen, he immediately honored the policy stated on his website and gave us a full refund, no questions asked. What truly stood out was everything after that. Since he was heading out on a family vacation and couldn’t take us again before we left Iceland, he went out of his way to recommend other reputable tour companies so we’d still have a chance. And incredibly, he even texted us during his vacation the following night to check in and see if we managed to catch the lights when they appeared (we did!). Of course, we were disappointed not to see the aurora with Danny, but I know without a doubt that it wasn’t because he didn’t try. His integrity, effort, and kindness were exceptional, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire experience. If you’re considering an aurora tour, I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Danny. The next time we are in Iceland, we will do it again! Even if nature doesn’t cooperate, you’ll be in excellent hands!!

  We took a trip with Danny that was originally planned as a three-day tour, and we ended up extending one more night just to continue our aurora hunt — and we’re so glad we did. Danny was incredibly informative and genuinely fun to travel with. He knows the areas we visited very well and answered all of our questions with patience and clarity. He was thoughtful, accommodating, and took many great photos for us throughout the trip, which we truly appreciated. During the aurora hunts, he brought us to several excellent viewing spots where we were able to see the auroras clearly. He never rushed the experience and was more than willing to wait with us for the lights to appear, keeping the mood relaxed and positive the whole time. Without a doubt, this was one of the best travel experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended.

  We had a fantastic experience on this aurora tour. Danny is super passionate and knowledgeable, and you can really tell he loves what he does. He uses aurora and weather data really well to decide where to go and when, which gave us the best possible chance to see the northern lights. He was also very flexible and accommodating throughout the night. We made a fairly last-minute change of plans, and he was able to adjust everything smoothly based on the conditions and what worked best for us. Overall, it was an amazing and memorable experience, and I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great aurora hunt.

  Anybody thinking of proposing under the Northern Lights shouldn't think twice about going with Danny. He was incredible from even the day before we booked him, communicative about the potential aurora activity and offering flexibility on which day I wanted to do it on. Throughout the entire experience he was kind, enthusiastic, accommodating, and overall a great person to chase the aurora with. He has a super cool setup with lots of knowledge and stories to share while you speed around Iceland. He really seemed just as excited as we were to be out there under the lights, despite him presumably having seen them many hundreds of times. He was also great with the proposal. He kept it under wraps until the right moment and gave me a signal. Our photos came out so good that people keep asking us if the background is a greenscreen! It is an understatement to say he offers a one of a kind service. Having someone be so excited to be out there with you made our night beyond special and in good spirits to battle the cold. We can’t recommend him quick enough to anyone who plans on going to Iceland and wants to experience the Northern Lights for any reason.

  We were lucky to catch a truly extraordinary ordinary display of the Northern Lights at Danny’s secret spot! Danny was incredibly informative, sharing all of the data points he uses to track the aurora, and his truck is well outfitted so that we could stay warm and enjoy coffee and hot chocolate while we waited for several hours for the conditions to be right! Danny’s joy at the display that eventually emerged was genuine and delightful to be around and he took spectacular photos and videos that he shared with us for our memories! Would highly recommend Danny every time!!

  An Unforgettable Aurora Experience With Danny! We went on an aurora hunting tour with Danny, and it was truly one of a kind. From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, kind, and genuinely passionate about what he does. You can tell he lives for chasing the northern lights. He even taught us some really interesting facts about how to track and read the sky that we never would’ve known on our own. Danny took us to the perfect spot and captured the coolest photos I have ever seen. His edits were insane absolutely stunning.   Danny helped my fiancé plan our engagement with the northern lights and it was so magical. We couldn’t go the first or second night due to low aurora activity, so Danny very kindly rearranged his schedule to allow us to go on the final night of our trip and we managed to see the aurora and do the proposal! We can’t even put into words how grateful we were to have a guide and photographer who cared so much about giving us a wonderful experience and went the extra mile (quite literally, because he drove out further than usual just for us to get a chance to see the aurora). We recommend him to anyone who wants to increase their chances of seeing the aurora, because he puts in the extra effort that makes booking with him so worth it! Thank you for bringing our dream to life!

  My trip was simply amazing! Our guide was so patient, attentive, and dedicated. He explained everything we saw in detail, always with a smile and a great attitude.   Danny is really an amazing aurora hunter. It so lucky to have him for my first aurora trip. Danny has arranged everything so nice. He took us to a wonderful place and explained how’s the aurora work. Also he is very patient, he even teach me how to take photos of the aurora and the Milky Way. That’s would probably be the most unforgettable night ever.

  We just returned from an unforgettable private aurora hunting trip with Danny, and we are still in awe of the experience! Last night, witnessing the northern lights dance across the sky felt truly surreal. We can't express how much it meant to us🥹 Danny took us to his secret spot, which was absolutely perfect for viewing the auroras. Not only is he an exceptional guide, but he also displayed remarkable skills as a cameraman, capturing our precious memories beautifully. We truly appreciate all that he did to make our night so special. With such a fantastic first night in Iceland, we are already planning our return! Joyceeeeee is even inspired to buy a new lens to capture even more stunning shots in the future. Thank you, Danny, for everything! We can't recommend this experience enough.
