  Anybody thinking of proposing under the Northern Lights shouldn't think twice about going with Danny. He was incredible from even the day before we booked him, communicative about the potential aurora activity and offering flexibility on which day I wanted to do it on. Throughout the entire experience he was kind, enthusiastic, accommodating, and overall a great person to chase the aurora with. He has a super cool setup with lots of knowledge and stories to share while you speed around Iceland. He really seemed just as excited as we were to be out there under the lights, despite him presumably having seen them many hundreds of times. He was also great with the proposal. He kept it under wraps until the right moment and gave me a signal. Our photos came out so good that people keep asking us if the background is a greenscreen! It is an understatement to say he offers a one of a kind service. Having someone be so excited to be out there with you made our night beyond special and in good spirits to battle the cold. We can’t recommend him quick enough to anyone who plans on going to Iceland and wants to experience the Northern Lights for any reason.

  We were lucky to catch a truly extraordinary ordinary display of the Northern Lights at Danny’s secret spot! Danny was incredibly informative, sharing all of the data points he uses to track the aurora, and his truck is well outfitted so that we could stay warm and enjoy coffee and hot chocolate while we waited for several hours for the conditions to be right! Danny’s joy at the display that eventually emerged was genuine and delightful to be around and he took spectacular photos and videos that he shared with us for our memories! Would highly recommend Danny every time!!

  An Unforgettable Aurora Experience With Danny! We went on an aurora hunting tour with Danny, and it was truly one of a kind. From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, kind, and genuinely passionate about what he does. You can tell he lives for chasing the northern lights. He even taught us some really interesting facts about how to track and read the sky that we never would’ve known on our own. Danny took us to the perfect spot and captured the coolest photos I have ever seen. His edits were insane absolutely stunning. Make sure you follow The Aurora Man on Instagram! 1000% recommend! 🌌✨

  Danny helped my fiancé plan our engagement with the northern lights and it was so magical. We couldn’t go the first or second night due to low aurora activity, so Danny very kindly rearranged his schedule to allow us to go on the final night of our trip and we managed to see the aurora and do the proposal! We can’t even put into words how grateful we were to have a guide and photographer who cared so much about giving us a wonderful experience and went the extra mile (quite literally, because he drove out further than usual just for us to get a chance to see the aurora). We recommend him to anyone who wants to increase their chances of seeing the aurora, because he puts in the extra effort that makes booking with him so worth it! Thank you for bringing our dream to life!

  My trip was simply amazing! Our guide was so patient, attentive, and dedicated. He explained everything we saw in detail, always with a smile and a great attitude. He completely exceeded my expectations, especially because this was such a special trip for me — a beautiful marriage proposal!   Danny is really an amazing aurora hunter. It so lucky to have him for my first aurora trip. Danny has arranged everything so nice. He took us to a wonderful place and explained how’s the aurora work. Also he is very patient, he even teach me how to take photos of the aurora and the Milky Way. That’s would probably be the most unforgettable night ever.

  We just returned from an unforgettable private aurora hunting trip with Danny, and we are still in awe of the experience! Last night, witnessing the northern lights dance across the sky felt truly surreal. We can't express how much it meant to us🥹 Danny took us to his secret spot, which was absolutely perfect for viewing the auroras. Not only is he an exceptional guide, but he also displayed remarkable skills as a cameraman, capturing our precious memories beautifully. We truly appreciate all that he did to make our night so special. With such a fantastic first night in Iceland, we are already planning our return! Joyceeeeee is even inspired to buy a new lens to capture even more stunning shots in the future. Thank you, Danny, for everything! We can't recommend this experience enough.

  Our Northern Lights hunt with Danny was absolutely incredible. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, chasing clear skies and helping everyone get amazing photos. He explained the science behind the lights in such an interesting way and shared stories that made the night even more special. Thanks to him, we saw an unforgettable display of the Aurora. It was one of the most magical nights of our trip and something we’ll never forget.

  Incredible experience with Danny and his team, I highly recommend booking a tour with him when visiting Iceland. We won't go back to Iceland without an Aurora Man tour. Appreciated his knowledge of both the must-see spots and hidden gems, as well great food recommendations to keep us energized all day. Booking Danny was the best decision we made for our proposal trip to Iceland, and frankly, he's more than just a photographer—he's a proposal architect. As a local tour guide, his knowledge was invaluable. He didn't just meet us; he planned the entire logistics of the morning, leading us on a short, stunning hike (safely navigating the Icelandic terrain) to a perfectly secluded, hidden vista he knew would be empty st some point. Without his expertise, we never would have found this breathtaking, private location among the dramatic lava fields and mountains. When it came time for the moment, Danny transformed from guide to an invisible presence. He was so incredibly discreet that my partner had no idea he was there until after I popped the question! The resulting photos are stunning—raw, emotional, and perfectly composed against the epic Icelandic backdrop.
