5.00Amy-san was an excellent guide in Shinjuku! She was so friendly and easygoing. She showed us interesting places to eat and drink. She introduced us to some lovely local characters. She interpreted so that we could engage more with local staff and guests. She put us at ease with her own stories and good humour, and she sent us away with some great recommendations for other places to visit. We can't recommend her enough! The best possible introduction to nightlife in Shinjuku and Golden Gai.

5.00Such a wonderful tour! We got an authentic experience of Japanese food and drink. Golden Gai bars are tiny and there is no way larger tours could have fit in the venues we visited. We also learned so much about Japanese culture (and some language!) from our guide Amy. The perfect experience to start our trip- thank you!

5.00Highly recommend this tour! In addition to the delicious meal and bar visits, it includes a walking tour of Shinjuku which was very informative. Amy who led the tour was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We even ended up going through the crowds to see a local festival that was going on at a local shrine. Overall a good time! Thank you Amy!

5.00My husband and I met with Risako, who was such a lovely guide. She’s very relaxed, has a deep knowledge of the local area, and we enjoyed sharing our travel stories. We really liked her restaurant recommendation, and the bar suggestions were top notch! Felt like sharing some beers with a friend.
