• A fabulous day out from Tianjin port to Beijing

  We had a fantastic day trip to Beijing from Tianjin Port with Sunflower Tours. Everything ran smoothly once we cleared immigration at the port, and we were very well looked after throughout the day. Our guide, Miss Kris, was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely well organised. In the time available we managed to see an incredible amount, including Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. We also stopped for lunch and enjoyed a fabulous meal. Miss Kris asked about our preferences and selected a variety of dishes for us to try — it was probably the best meal we have had so far on our holiday. We were especially impressed that our guide travelled all the way from Beijing to Tianjin Port to greet us and ensure our train journey ran smoothly, and then did the same on our return. This meant she had a very long day, but without her help we might have felt quite overwhelmed at the station not knowing where to go or what to do. We very much appreciated this level of service. We were also impressed with the comfort of the vehicles the company used to transport us during the tour. Sunflower Tours enabled us to experience Beijing during a short cruise stop, which we otherwise might not have been able to do. We wholeheartedly recommend this company to other travellers.   This experience was sensational with our tour guide Maggie. Everything was arranged from pick up from ship to return. Maggie was very informative. If you want a good experience book through Sunflower Tours and hope you get Maggie.

• Bulletin train from Tianjin to Tian’anmen Square and Forbidden City/

  We were met at our cruise ship by Lina and a driver who took us to the bullet train in Tianjin so we could see Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. Lina was a wonderful guide-very knowledgeable about China’s history and very personable. Her English was perfect and she was extreme it attentive to us, even helping with our bags. She was also very punctual keeping in mind that we had to return to the ship at a certain find. We would recommend this Sunflower tour to anyone and especially our guide Lina.
