  Great experience from the start. Was contacted by Sam who gave us several options for our day and to work out the itinerary and key areas of interest. They were also very accommodating in being able to switch days and number of travelers. When it came to the tour Alex lead the way providing an unforgettable experience and all around wonderful day. Highly recommend the Blue Mountains and The Australian Adventure Company.

  This was a fantastic trip! Alex was right on time picking us up from the ship terminal. He was a great guide taking us to all the places we wanted to go and telling us all about what we were viewing. He also answered all our questions about the Sydney area and Australia in general. He has a wealth of knowledge! His car was spacious and extremely comfortable. The Blue Mountains are beautiful and Alex did a wonderful job making sure we saw them in all their glory. I would highly recommend doing this trip with Alex!!

  We had a lovely time with Alex. We went to the Featherdale Wildlife Park first and saw all the local Australian animals. You can buy a cup of food and feed the animals (kangaroos included). Next we went to see a waterfall, Three Sisters, and a lovely viewpoint. Stopped for lunch at an Australian pub, and then saw another waterfall. Beautiful scenery all around

  An excellent tour with Alex. Started with a convenient pick up at our accommodation in Penrith, and then a good chat during drive towards Blue Mountains, where we went through our plans for the day. Alex was very flexible to suit what we wanted to do, but also gave us some very helpful suggestions with the benefit of his knowledge. We started off at Wentworth Falls and then Three Sisters. After this we stopped off at a lovely Sri Lankan restaurant in Leura, which was Alex’s suggestion (we never would have found it ourselves). After Lunch we then went off to three further look outs which were much quieter. These really gave us a chance to take in the stunning scenery by ourselves and at our leisure. Alex struck the perfect balance of knowledge, history/information and letting us take in the sights. He was always on hand with insightful facts and history at different points. Car was very comfortable for duration of the day. If visiting Blue Mountains, and certainly if time pressured like we were, then a private tour with Australian Adventures is very highly recommended.

  With this private tour, you can really appreciate the different dimensions of the UNESCO World Heritage, the Blue Mountains. Our guide, Alex, is superb in leading us through various scenic sites.   The four of us agreed this was the highlight of our trip. Gabi and Alex planned a great itinerary for four senior travelers. They are very well informed and showed us the most beathtaking scenery. We chose not to take the tours mentioned so they were able to show us more of the area. We stopped at a cute little artisan town where we picked up a couple unique souvenirs. We had a wonderful lunch and they talked us into trying a kangaroo appetizer, surprisingly tasty. Alex is a very safe driver and both entertained us with facts, history and stories all day long. This trip is a must see!

  Our group had the most amazing day in the Blue Mountains with Gabi. We are all in our 70's so needed something that suited our limited mobility. We texted Gabi and she immediately made alterations to the itinerary to make the day PERFECT FOR US. Gabi was very warm and engaging and incredibly knowledgeable about Australiawe loved her stories about the land, animals, and history as we explored. The views were breathtaking the wildlife park was a highlight and Gabi made everything feel easy and personal. We loved that the day moved at our own pace and that she always went the extra mile to make sure we saw the best spots and were comfortable. Having Gabi as our guide made the day so special, it felt like exploring with a friend. Truly one of the best experiences of our trip!

  Sam Josephson's company, The Australian Adventure Co, provides a wonderful guided trip into the Blue Mountains. Sam will help you choose a hike, or two. Short or long, all are beautiful. If you are interested, Sam will relate stories of Australian history in general, and of this area in particular. Sam may tell Siri to play a moving anthem, "I am Australian." If you listen, you will hear this proud Australian singing along. Hire Sam! You will remember the trip as a highlight of Australia.   You can really tell when something is done with passion—it naturally stands out from the ordinary. My private day tour to the Blue Mountains with Sam was exceptional from the very first minute. It wasn’t just the stunning beauty and peace of the landscape that made it special, but also Sam’s deep knowledge and engaging conversation throughout the day. It didn’t feel like just another tour. I genuinely couldn’t recommend it more.
