This Bromo Sunrise Private tour is suitable for traveller that want to experience mount Bromo, but doesnt have much time. The tour start from your Hotel in Surabaya/Malang at midnight, and after finished drive back to Surabaya/Malang in the same day.

Pick up at Surabaya/malang hotel drive to Bromo for 2,5 hours
be ready at 3:00am change to private jeep and head to Mount Penanjakan by 4WD jeep
enjoy the Bromo sunrise take photo at View point
Go down to the seasand and crater
hike up to the crater
see the whispering sand and Luhur Temple
Madakaripura Waterfall (optional)
Drive back to surabaya (on the way back you can stop for lunch/any request)

5.00Reliable/secure travel agency for different stays and very responsive to all your requests: more than appreciable! We did the Bromo-sunrise mount = magic! Our guide Layla knew how to be present while being discreet.Caring nature, always smiling and experienced, she met all our expectations (photo spots etc..) It also remained available for our Xx requests (private drivers, ferries, trains, council etc..) Special mention to the 2 drivers (road + jeep) where their experiences make the difference: efficiency and safety really go hand in hand!!

5.00Thank you so much Layla for the amazing journey !! We spend a really nice day together !! Pick up at the hotel in Malang at 11pm then drive for 2 hours and a hall to pick up a jeep to climb for 30 to 45 minutes to reach the peak view :) Take hot clothes !!the view is amazing 😇😜 Thank you for the pictures !! It was great

5.00Great trip to Mt Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall. Already during booking Stanley answered all our questions immediately so we knew what to expect. Our Guide Layla was superb - she made sure we got the best photo spot on Mt Bromo ( although there were hundreds of tourists out there) and organized everything in the background so we had to care for nothing. If you have time don’t miss the waterfall!

5.00We joined this private Bromo sunrise tour in late June and had a fantastic experience. The tour was well organized. The local operator was thoughtful and texted us to confirm our booking, providing all information we needed before the trip. Our guide Salsa was fantastic and energetic, spoke excellent English, and took great care of us, making sure we enjoyed the whole trip. We truly appreciated her kindness, expertise and enthusiasm throughout this memorable tour. We had a wonderful time -- thank you so much!

5.00Amazing scenery. The tour guide Laila elped me alot throughout my journey. Very friendly and very cooperative . The sunrise is one of it's kind , the mountains are super amazing . Suggest everyone to take guide with you if you don't know locla language. Once in a life time experience.

5.00Despite the bad weather a lot of rain have had a good entertaining ride with tour guide Layla who told a lot of info about Indonesia and then hit it with an easy climb to Mount Bromo certainly due to the pleasant temperature. Due to the heavy rain in the mountains, the river to the Madakaripura waterfall was not walkable and we missed the excursion to waterfall but Layla solved this great by giving a video of the waterfall so we still got a picture of what we missed

5.00This sunrise trip to Mount Bromo left us with wonderful memories, thanks to our professional guide Salsa and skilled driver Aliff. The tour began smoothly with their punctual 12:30 AM pickup in a clean Toyota Avanza at DoubleTree Hilton Surabaya. Salsa's fluent English made communication effortless throughout the journey. When we transfer to Jeep, our jeep encountered mechanical issues, Salsa efficiently arranged a replacement vehicle within just 20 minutes. The local driver's expert route selection ensured we arrived at the viewpoint right on schedule. At dawn on May 2nd 2025, we were treated to Bromo's most spectacular sunrise - the volcanic landscape shrouded in morning mist was truly magical. Salsa expertly guided us to the crater and recommended perfect photo spots. The well-planned itinerary concluded with our timely 10:10 AM return to Surabaya. Their professionalism and local knowledge transformed this into a flawless volcanic adventure.

5.00This trip is great and can be customized and can be booked directly on the official website of East Journey Travel. We are booking non-sunset trips, do not wake up in the middle of the night, to the scene will not crowd people. The guide Laila communicates in English without problems, and also nice will help to take photos.
