The Citadella is the fortification located upon the top of Gellért Hill in Budapest, Hungary. Citadella is the Hungarian word for citadel, a kind of fortress. 5.00We arrived in Budapest last night and had scheduled a private tour of the city, before we came, for this morning. John arrived right on time and was excellent throughout. He came in an open Jeep to provide the best views. He gave us a wonderful tour of Budapest with three well planned stops. He even bought each of us some apple strudel. He answered many questions and gave us multiple recommendations for restaurants and evening river cruises. We learned lots about Hungarian history as well as current events through John's perspective. He spent well over three hours with us. We couldn't recommend him more highly. He was really an incredibly well informed and confident tour guide.

5.00Highly recommend. John was very knowledgeable and the whole experience was so well thought out. He was so accommodating and flexible, changing stops to places that we had yet to see. Loved that we were able to get out at the stops and spend some time. The strudel and tea were lovely touches. Absolutely beautiful city and this is a fantastic way to pack in lots of sites in a few hours and hear the history of the city. Thank you.

John was an exceptional guide very knowledgeable & attentive & included some surprises to make it extra special. Pick up & drop off from our hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed & would highly recommend.

5.00We have done several city tours and this was by far the best! We only had a couple of days in Budapest so opted for this tour to see more and I don’t think we missed a thing!! Zsombor was so knowledgeable, brought us hot tea, and we stopped for the best apple strudel. I cannot recommend enough!!

5.00We’ve done several city tours and this was the best! Zsombor was an AMAZING guide! We only had two days in Budapest so opted for this so we could see more of the sites. I don’t think we missed anything!! Plus he was so friendly and knowledgeable, treated us to hot tea and apple strudel. Can not recommend this enough!!
