The south of Bourgogne/Burgundy produces white wine, it's a region known as Mâconnais which is the border with beaujolais region.
The area's first source of income is wine, it's not an industry, it's a lifestyle as there are mainly small producers who are free to create in their own style as long as they stay within limits defined by the industry.
We've been coming here forever, we know the ins and outs of the area and we take pride in being the friend of a friend you'd like to have in a place you didn't know.
We travel too and we hate being treated as tourists but we love being travelers. That's what we hope to do for you!
The tour description above is an outline of what we can do, we usually end up adapting the content of the half day to maximize the value for money and time you put in us.

Our first stop will be in the vines on a nice view point where we'll tell you about the wine in Burgundy as we open a bottle from that very vine for you to taste.
Vergisson
We'll make our way by small country roads to a quaint village hidden between two hills to visit a winery and taste a pretty good white wine. The idea is to show you a winery after having seen a the vine.

5.00This experience was a gift for my husband. We arrived by train to Macon and our tour guide picked us in an antique Land Rover which made my husband travel back in time to his first car. Thomas took us to three different places to enjoy the burgundy region wines. The drive through the different vineyards and small villages was fabulous. Thomas knowledge and sympathy made this tour enjoyable.

5.00The best tour I have ever been on! It would be hard to summarise in words how good it was. It was the perfect mix of tasting fabulous wine, while relaxing, chatting and enjoying the french countryside. All the places we visited were a different experience making the day varied. The tasting was relaxed without the hard sell and expecting us to purchase. We also learnt so much about the region and the wine preparation. Insiders were incredibly accommodating to our needs, allowing us to bring our puppies with us and making sure we could visit places that allowed dogs, advising on which trains to catch etc. The tour was so well thought through and felt incredibly personalised. I could not recommend enough, I only wish we had done the full day tour!

5.00The tour was awesome and I was introduced to Mâconnais wines. Since I ended up being the only person on the tour, I also was able to do Beaujolais tastings.
