Join us for a full-day private adventure in Cajon del Maipo, a spectacular mountain valley southeast of Santiago known for its dramatic Andean landscapes and mountain culture. This flexible experience adapts to your interests, whether you prefer hiking, scenic drives, or simply enjoying nature. After booking, we’ll help you choose the route that best fits your interests and the day’s conditions. Main tour options (all private): - Panoramic drive: Scenic stops, short walks, and a picnic with local products. Optional visit to Colina Hot Springs (entry not included). - Laguna Morales hike: Moderate hike through El Morado Natural Monument to an alpine lagoon with views of Glaciar San Francisco. - Valle de la Engorda: 3–4 hour hike with wide Andean landscapes and views of Volcan San Jose. - El Morado Glacier: Demanding 5–6 hour hike to a hanging glacier, recommended for experienced hikers. - El Yeso Reservoir: Visit a turquoise reservoir surrounded by high peaks. - Optional visit to a wildlife rehabilitation refuge with a guided conservation tour (additional fee). - Routes may vary depending on weather and access conditions.

5.00Ignacio and our driver Ricardo were fantastic! Ignacio is very knowledgeable and passionate about the Cajon region and Chilean natural history. Beautiful views of the el yeso reservoir. Visited a goat farm and had some great cheese! Highly recommend

5.00Snowshoeing with Joaquín and Camila was surely the highlight of my time in Santiago. They were very knowledgeable of the area, made me feel safe while trekking up the snow for the first time, and generally were just great people to meet and converse with. They are incredibly passionate about the land and their love for such a cultural experience is palpable. I'm so happy I met them and would definitely return to Ecordua in the future.

Joaquin is such a warm down to earth person who knows so much, and went out of the way to show me some amazing places and make me feel invited to this wonderful country. Camila made the entire reservation process seamless. I would highly recommend Ecordua tours to anyone thinking of coming to Chile. You will not regret it!

5.00We loved our tour with Joaquin. Breakfast was cheap and delicious. The hike was a bit steep at times but not too far and the views were amazing. We also only saw 1 other car and a group of schoolkids briefly, otherwise we had the whole mountain to ourselves. We appreciated Joaquin's stories and post-hike wine, cheese, and strawberries. 10/10 would recommend and I'll be looking up Joaquin's tours next time I visit Chile.

5.00Joaquin reached out after we booked his tour and was very helpful as we prepared for our trip. Him and I discussed what tours would be best for my Dad and I and he was willing to customize both of our tours to align with our goals and personalities. You can tell that Joaquin is passionate about what he does and truly loves nature and helping people have unique experiences. I highly recommend Joaquin, you can be sure you will have an unforgettable time.

3.00We had good communication with the travel agency and they were quick to respond with our questions when we had another Chilean company asking us to move our dates around. We did not go to the El Morado Glacier and were pretty disappointed about it. A large fire was in the valley area and our guide, Sebastián, did not know about it. Hopefully, other guides or firefighters in the area can share their information with each other so they aren't blindsided by it when they also try to make it out for a hike in the future. It was our honeymoon and we wanted to see some unique things for the area, more with hiking and getting out into the local cultural areas. Had we gone into the region we were supposed to go, the price would have been worth it for 2 people. Since we were done with our trip by 230pm, much earlier than we were planning, we assess the cost was high ($500 for two people). Sebastián was really knowledgeable and a wonderful guide for the area.

5.00Joaquin, our guide, was exceptional. He had so much knowledge about the areas we hiked, ranging from wildlife to fauna. When you are hiking hard, it really helps to have someone who not only knows where you are, but knows the animals and vegetation so well. Joaquin also has a very good soul. He picked up a little pup who had been abandoned by the road and took it to the vets and then to his home. This one act of kindness made such an impression on me. I would give him my highest rating for being a guide and for being a good human being

5.00Recommended tour. We made the tour through the path to the San Francisco Glacier. Very beautiful landscape. An experienced guide and driver.They picked us up at the hotel at scheduled time. All the tour went well as advertised.
