Cape Point Nature Reserve
Cape Point, located in the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve in South Africa, is a must-visit destination for any nature lover or adventurer. This stunning coastal location boasts breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, with rugged cliffs and sparkling blue waters as far as the eye can see. The Cape of Good Hope nature reserve is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including baboons, antelopes, and over 250 species of birds. Hiking trails crisscross the reserve, offering visitors the chance to explore the unique landscapes and spot some of the local wildlife. One of the highlights of a visit to Cape Point is taking a ride on the Flying Dutchman Funicular, a railway that takes you to the top of the peak. From here, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding area and snap some Instagram-worthy shots of the scenery.
Chapman's Peak Drive
This iconic coastal road is a must-see, offering some of the most breathtaking views in the area. Stretching for 9 kilometers through the mountains between Noordhoek and Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak is famous for its dramatic twists and turns. As you wind along the road, you'll be treated to stunning vistas of the ocean and rugged cliffs that drop away into the water below. There are several lookout points along the route where you can stop and take in the views, snap some photos, or even have a picnic. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can also go for a hike in the surrounding mountains. But be aware that the road can be quite narrow and winding in places, so it's not recommended for nervous drivers or those who get car sick easily. However, if you're up for the challenge, the drive is well worth it.

5.00We received a very personal experience which included all the places we wanted to visit . A very enjoyable boat trip to Seal Island Chapmans peak A lovely lunch at Simonstown at Berthas restaurant. A fantastic visit to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope And on our way back to Cape Town we popped into see the Ostrich farm . Fredrick was a superb guide who was very attentive throughout the day . Fredrick was very informative on a range of subjects which even included music 🎵. We cannot imagine a better guide . We strongly recommend this tour company for value , quality and service .

5.00Our trip with Rowan was honestly one of the best guided experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment the journey started, it felt like we were traveling with someone we could trust completely. He’s incredibly personable, easy to talk to, and the kind of guide who instantly puts you at ease. Rowan went far beyond what any guide is expected to do. He made sure we always had great food and comfortable accommodations, and he checked in constantly to see if there was anything we needed. At one point, he even surprised us with local biltong beef jerky without us ever asking (it tasted amazing!). Little things like that showed how thoughtful he is and how much he cares about making the experience special. Rowan always first paints an intriguing historical and cultural perspective of the locations, and then gives us some space to explore on our own. Perfectly balanced and very professional. The car we traveled in was spotless, really comfortable, and clearly well taken care of. It made the long drives relaxing, which is something we appreciated more than we expected. On top of all this, his photography skills are genuinely impressive. The pictures and videos he took for us turned out amazing, and trying to choose our favorites has been almost impossible because there are so many great ones. Everyone back home loved them too. Rowan is THE superstar guide of Cape Town. Someone you can trust, someone who brings warmth, professionalism and real passion into what he does. He truly went above and beyond to make our journey unforgettable. We would recommend him to absolutely anyone visiting Cape Town. Highly, highly recommended. 10/10

5.00A fantastic good guidance in choosing the right excursions for our family. We have booked: day Hermanus (whales) + horseback riding / day Cape Good Hope + Penguins / day hike Cable mountain and bike tour Stellenbosch Very friendly and quick answers via mail. Correct handling of our file. Once on site, everything went smoothly. Very sweet and experienced drivers and a fantastic experience to discover Capetown with Wanderer. We will definitely be back!

5.00After sending a tentative enquiry, Aziza arranged an amazing trip for us. It was our first time in Cape Town and wanted a taste of everything. We did the City Tour with Darlington who was great and then The Peninsular tour and then headed to the garden route via wine tasting in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Tash was our driver and guide from cape town onwards and was just amazing. Very knowledgeable, considerate with a great sense of humour. We loved the elephants, penguins, seals zip line and everything in between.

5.00I had a great time in Cape Town. Since the very start things were well organised and all went smoothly. My guide called Faizel was very professional, caring and thoughtful. He dedicated his time to follow not only the plan but also some wishes I had such as a short shopping or going to the Chemist. I recommend this agency because as a single traveler things must be well done in order to feel safe and to enjoy the trip. It was the case! Thank you!!

5.00There is no better way to start your holiday in Cape Town than with "Wanderer". We discussed our wishes with the office (Aziza) in advance by email and were recommended this tour. If you are visiting Cape Town for the first time and want to see as much as possible, this is a good choice. Our guide (Nwabisa) picked us up at the hotel at the agreed time and we took a short walk along the Seal Island Hout Bay (we skipped the boat trip as we weren't sure if there would be enough tourists for a boat trip that day), then along Chapmans Peak Drive to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, up to the Old Cape Point Lighthouse with the Cape Point Funicular and finally to the Cape of Good Hope. We also did a chocolate and wine pairing at Groot Constantia, which was a great little highlight. Throughout the tour, which lasted about 7 hours, Nwabisa was on hand to answer all our questions, take photos and tell us a lot about the city and country of South Africa. Thank you so much for this great day and for booking the restaurant you recommended to round off a great day.

5.00We have just returned from a wonderful 12 day through South Africa, landing in Johannesburg and on to Cape Town via Stellenbosch. We were looked after so well from start to finish by Che, Faizel, Nwabisa and the whole team. From organising our transfers to airports, hotels, restaurants and rugby stadia to informative, relaxed tours through each of the regions. They couldn’t do enough for us. We felt so well looked after, particularly by Faizel, as he saw us for most days over our final week! He is so professional, a great source of local knowledge, warm and cheerful. We felt lucky to have him accompanying us through Stellenbosch and Cape Town. To be fair to the company, each member of staff we met, and the local guides they hooked us up with in the townships, was top class! This company will go above and beyond to make your stay in SA a memorable one!
