  We celebrated my brothers 50th birthday and had a ball. The crew, drinks and hospitality made for a memorable experience for all.

  There was a mistake, and somehow the boat was double-booked. We were on the boat pulling out of the marina and had to return because the other group was there. Our group was asked to leave the vessel so the other party could get on. Chuy (the big boss) was not sure how the double booking happened. He was apologetic and rebooked us on another sailing two days later and paid for our transportation from our resort and back. Our driver was Gabriel and he was fantastic. When we finally did sail two days later the crew were all very nice and we appreciated their efforts to make our excursion enjoyable. Drinks were not good at all, overly sugary, typical booze cruise fair, the food was a roasted chicken that probably came from Costco. Would I book this excursion through this company again? No. Did we have an enjoyable time? Yes, although the mood was already dampened by the double-book mistake. The highlight was seeing whales and being on the water with the people we came with.

  What a beautiful trip! Our entire group of 19 had the time of our lives. Whale watching, snorkeling, drinking & dancing with the best crew ever! I would recommend 10000%

  Easily the highlight of our entire trip. If looking for a private tour, this catamaran and Chuy cannot be beat. Tour guides Danny and the entire sailing crew were absolutely delightful. We followed the migrating whales, got great photos at the arch, snorkeled in the clear waters, were taught about the region and the animals as we sailed, and were well attended to with food and beverage. Our catamaran had a bathroom on board and aquatic toys for everyone to enjoy (snorkels, paddle board, raft). Great communicator and even helped provide a reputable airport transfer shuttle for us. Easily 10 out of 10

• The perfect private boat trip

  We had the best experience with Chuy and La Tortuga private tour. We flew in on Christmas Day and were able to book a private boat for 9 on the 27th. Chuy was extremely professional when booking-provided detailed information, explicit instructions about how/where to find him and confirmation of our reservation. When we arrived his assistant, Maria, and the entire crew were professional, kind and welcoming. They anticipated all of our needs and ensured we had a fantastic time from beginning to end. We’ve taken many boat rides in Cabo and this was our best experience by far. We will definitely book through them again.

  I booked this excursion for our group of 10 during our recent cruise and it was absolutely amazing in every way! Communication from the owner (Chuy) was top notch from start to finish. And Danny, Rene and Xochitl provided impeccable service once aboard La Tortuga. They did not skip a solitary beat. The drinks were flowing and the food was way better than any of us had expected. Danny did a wonderful job of educating us on the lay of the land without overtalking and they even made sure to stop for some whales along the way to snorkel. The music was spot on and might as well have been playing from my own phone. It was funny when we were heading back, Rene announced “there is your ship!” which prompted a round of boo’s from our group. We could’ve easily stayed on for the rest of the day. And the final touch was provided by our captain (Rene) when we’d yelled out to him from the tender line saying adios one last time and next thing I know, he was headed our way with a tray of Pacificos for us which made waiting in that crazy tender line much more pleasurable as everyone else around us looked on in amazement (and likely a little bit of jealousy haha). I could go on and on, but most people aren’t trying to read a novel. Just book this excursion and I guarantee you will never regret it. P.S. To Danny, I think you made the right move, my man! You’re a true professional and you’re so perfect for this role. Cheers to you and we’ll see you again.

  Highly recommend this tour! The crew went out of their way to tailor the boat trip to our group. We especially loved seeing the whales and getting to use the Lilly pad and paddle boards.

  The team, Chuy, René, Juan and Danny did an incredible job. Danny’s eyes were like the pools we swam in. The whole team ensured we had what we needed and the chillada were to die for. We saw a sea turtle, a seal and so many flying fish.
