  ( this is not our first private charter) We chartered an 8 hour snorkeling tour for my grandson, daughter and myself. We went to spots in St John hard to get to by car. Lunch at the new Lime Out in St. Thomas and Water Island ended the day. Our Captain Tara was so amazing, knowledgeable and helpful. It will be hard to go with anyone else.

  My family had an amazing time with Tara touring the USVI. She took us to some spots that were new to us on the East End of St. John and some orher great spots for snorkeling at Buck Island and St. Thomas. We felt at home on the boat and she had a phenomenal yachting playlist. Thanks Tara!

  The whole day was perfect! Our captain John and his mate Kevin were very interactive and informative. We cruised around the islands getting some history of each, snorkeled in a couple places with Kevin jumping in to highlight different things, and enjoyed delicious pizza from the pizza boat.   Captain Dave is the best! We had such a great time on the water with him. 5 stars for the bearded captain! We did the local charter, and he took us to all the best spots.

  Last week our family went on a cruise that stopped in St. Thomas, and we booked a private charter with Stormy Pirates after a recommendation from a captain we had used on a previous trip. They operate a beautiful 37’ Axopar, and the experience exceeded every expectation. From the start, communication was fast, clear, and professional. They laid out all the details ahead of time and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the day completely stress-free. Our crew—Captain Dave and first mate Kevin—were outstanding. They were funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. Captain Dave even had a great playlist going, which added to the relaxed vibe. We went snorkeling and saw amazing sea life, including turtles, and they had snorkeling gear and noodles for our entire family of nine. Beyond the snorkeling, we learned a lot about the history and geography of St. John and St. Thomas, thanks to the stories and insights they shared along the way. The water got a little choppy on the return trip, but Captain Dave handled it with total confidence and skill. They provided beer, soda, and a great rum punch, and we even made a stop at Pizza Pi, which was a fun bonus. Every detail—from their recommended transportation to payment—was handled smoothly and professionally. I would absolutely recommend Stormy Pirates to anyone looking for a high-quality alternative to cruise ship excursions. While the price may seem a bit higher at first, it is truly a great value for a private, personalized, and memorable experience. We would book with them again without hesitation.

  My wife and I booked a private charter. All was excellent and our captain Brandon was terrific. He set up a great music mix and attended to all our needs. Management booked the charter very easily. Very good company to work with.

  We booked 2 excursions with Stormy Pirates. The first day we had a private charter to Baths and Norman Island. Captain John and Liz took great care of us! We never had an empty cup or stomach on the trip! Baths were gorgeous and snorkeling stops were amazing. We also booked a catamaran sail to Jost to visit Foxy's, Soggy Dollar etc. Pace was nice and slow and relaxing. Captain Kenny and Susannah took care of us! Great drinks and company the entire day. My husband left something on the boat and we noticed the next day. Kenny texted to ask if we had left it behind and we were able to arrange to get the item returned to us. Customer service beyond expectation. We loved both charters so much. Very nice to relax and enjoy the islands. They take of everything from drinks and snack to the customs process.
