  We booked a private boat tour for a bachelorette party, and it ended up being the highlight of our entire trip! From start to finish, the experience was truly unforgettable. Our captain, Tara, deserves the biggest shoutout. She was incredible! She was fun, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best day possible. She anticipated everything we might need before we even asked, kept the vibes high, and made us feel completely taken care of the whole time. Her energy was unmatched! We had an amazing day soaking up the sun, exploring beautiful spots, and laughing nonstop. It was the perfect mix of relaxing, celebratory, and adventurous. Every one of us said we’d book this tour again in a heartbeat. If you’re considering a private boat experience, do it, and ask for Tara! You will not be disappointed.

  We had the best day out with Captain Tara. The waves were pretty decent and she did a great job keeping the ride as smooth as it could be. The boat was the perfect size for the six of us. She was engaging and fun and we would definitely go out with her again!!!

  We had the best time with captain Tara!! The boat was beautiful and we did some great snorkeling and had a great time having pizza delivered. Captain Tara was super knowledgeable and brought the vibes for the group. 10/10 recommend!

  The experience was so fun! Kenny and Susanna were great hosts and captains. They treated us to pizza, snorkel spots with gear, and plenty of delicious drinks. The boat is beautiful as well!

  We had used Stormy pirates before and loved it so we were excited to book with them again! We traveled with our 4 teens and another family with 2 teens. Everyone had a great day on the water! Dave was very knowledgeable about the island and did a great job finding us some great snorkel spots! Would highly recommend Stormy Pirates!!

  Our December 2025 six-hour private 37" Axopar charter was the highlight of our 8 night vacation. We opted to go with Stormy Pirates instead of a cruise excursion because we were 1 of 5 ships docked in St Thomas & wanted to avoid large crowds & chaos. From the moment I reached out to Stormy Pirates I was confident that I had found a trustworthy/reputable company. Booking a private charter was by far the best decision I could have made! Communication pre-tour was perfect; we worked together to create a custom tour that would appeal to our family of 5 (3 adults kids 18, 21, 23). We arranged transportation from the cruise port ahead of time (recommended by Stormy Pirates). Instructions and directions for day-of were emailed in advance so when we checked in and stepped on the boat, everything was flawless - including a personal drop off (well worth the $) right by our cruise ship for the ultimate convenience at the end of our 6 hour day. Tara our amazing Captain met us at the office with a huge smile and we instantly knew that we were in for an unforgettable day! The boat was super nice, and we loved cutting through the water at high speed while the music set the vibe for an amazing day. We snorkeled in and around caves, and Pizza Pi; couldn't pass the opportunity to grab a cocktail, and visited the stunning Lovango Resort and Beach Club for lunch and shopping. Captain TARA... We loved her! She was incredibly fun, knowledgeable & deeply passionate about the islands. She shared fascinating history & gave us a true insiders tour that made every stop even more special. We finished out the day with amazing family photos (thanks Tara) & a seaplane that flew directly overhead as we pulled into dock right by our cruise ship. No stress getting back in time for the ships departure, tons of pics, laughter; relaxation, it was truly a perfect day filled with memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Tara and the the Stormy Pirates Team! We can't wait to return for our next trip with you!

  ( this is not our first private charter) We chartered an 8 hour snorkeling tour for my grandson, daughter and myself. We went to spots in St John hard to get to by car. Lunch at the new Lime Out in St. Thomas and Water Island ended the day. Our Captain Tara was so amazing, knowledgeable and helpful. It will be hard to go with anyone else.

  My family had an amazing time with Tara touring the USVI. She took us to some spots that were new to us on the East End of St. John and some orher great spots for snorkeling at Buck Island and St. Thomas. We felt at home on the boat and she had a phenomenal yachting playlist. Thanks Tara!
