This private one-day tour focuses on the main highlights of Chengdu city. You will see China's national treasure, giant pandas in their natural habitat. After that you will stroll along ancient alleys and admire the historical Jinsha Site Museum. This tour will start early in the morning so that you can watch pandas at their most exciting time, during their daily breakfast feeding.

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding
Your tour starts at 8:00am, when your guide and driver pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. You will first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, as the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other. You will also have a chance to see the very cute baby pandas, as well as documents and pictures showing how these little pink mouse-size animals grow into giant white and black chubby pandas of over 220 lbs (100kg).
Kuanzhai Alley
You will then proceed to Broad and Narrow Alleys. It is really fun to stroll along the ancient street lined with many old houses and some newly-built ones with a traditional style. You will have your lunch here (own expense), and you can ask for your guide's advice on where to eat.

5.00It was a great 4 days 3 nights private tour to Chengdu. I had a good time and i am very thankful for the excellent service and help from my guide (Joy) and driver (Mr. Xie) who had been assist me especially with my mom comfortability as she is on wheelchair. Love the cold and fresh air in Chengdu. My tour guide explain it very well to make the each places that we visited interesting and it very informative from culture, history and traditions. The trip to Giant Pandas Base well of course is unforgettable especially to see all the cute pandas. All the food are delicious. Most of all the places that i have visited are convenient if we come with elderly and wheelchair accessible. This is the second time i came to China with the same agency and the overall service is beyond my expectations from the planning with the agent (Emily) and the service provided from beginning of the tour until the end. Highly recommended.

She provided us with a wealth of background information not only about the attractions we visited but also about Chinese culture and traditions. 5.00The trip to Chengdu was very memorable. This was the first time we see live pandas which were very adorable. We noticed that each panda had their own ideosynchracies. Some were active and playful while the oher just prederred to laze around. After the visit, our guide Charles brought us to visit one of the old community in Chengdu where we also had Chinese tea and snacks. The rustic environment reminded us that China has made tremendous progress to bring its people to the current modernity.

5.00We had an amazing time touring Chengdu with our guide Julie Liu! Everything was so well organised and relaxed, which made the day effortless and fun. The panda experience was an absolute highlight, and visiting her local Xiaojiahe community made the tour feel really special and personal. We also loved the calligraphy lesson and the little souvenir she gave us — such thoughtful touches that we’ll always remember. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Highly, highly recommend Julie Liu to anyone visiting Chengdu!

5.00I had such an Amazing time in Chengdu. My guide Maggie made my experience organic and genuine. She made sure I enjoyed Chengdu and all it has to offer. She took me to see the cutes Pandas and all the must see local places so that I can experience the culture and every day life off people in Chengdu. I had so much fun touring around the city and will definitely come back to see more in the future. It takes a great Guide to make your travel experience meaningful, educational, and fun, Maggie definitely made sure my experience was great! I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to travel to Chengdu.

5.00Our 2-day tour of Chengdu with Bella was the highlight our China trip. Her perfect English, deep cultural knowledge, and thoughtful service made the trip comfortable and memorable. The morning visit to the Panda Base was the absolute highlight. By arriving at opening, she secured the best spots to witness the heartwarming sight of a mother panda bonding with her cubs. We also saw other pandas including red pandas. On the boat cruise to see the Leshan Giant Buddha, Bella ensured we had the prime viewing position. From the lively Jinli Street to the serene Wenshu Monastery, Bella’s insights were invaluable. She shared her extensive knowledge of Buddhism, which was especially meaningful for the Buddhist member of our group. Bella consistently checked in with us, prioritized our safety and comfort, and handled logistics like our onward train journey with meticulous care - even confirming stops and boarding details. Bella’s passion for her profession is evident in everything she does. We have no doubt she has a very bright future and highly recommend her to anyone visiting Chengdu.

4.00We were referred by my sister to try the China Travel tour. In the past we only joined the tour from US. So we decided to we join six days private tour to Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou in early November. The itinerary was good but I wish we can stay in Jiuzhaigou one more night so we can spend more times in the park.
