Built between the 16th and 18th centuries, and the first catholic cathedral of La Paz, this is one of the oldest buildings in the city. It’s conveniently located on Sagárnaga Street, close to a host of tourist hotspots, so you have no excuse. You'll be able to visit the church and get a lot of explanation.

5.00I booked The Tour and I didn't regret it one bit. We went to the moon valley first and it was impressive. Our guide Roxana is such a lovely person and she told us so much. This tour was so informative that I am really happy to have booked this tour. What impressed me most were the cable cars. I think I'd want to ride it all day. Because you have such a great bird's eye view, that's just incredible. And all the stations were so clean!!!!! The railway stations in Germany can cut off a large slice of . And the cable cars are two-fold safe. As I said with this tour you definitely don't do anything wrong. I can recommend them to anyone 100%. And a big thank you to Roxana. You embellished my day.

2.00It felt like it was just a transport service because some of the facts that were given to me I could’ve read myself (on the boards I was stood next to) or were incorrect. Nice guy couldnt offer any useful insight into how life before the cable cars was. I just don’t think it was great value for money for things I could’ve done myself, Add to that on top of the Viator price there was the entrance fee to the lunar moon place, not a lot but not the point.

4.00Moon Valley absolutely amazing! However I’m giving only 4 stars because city tour was a fiasco! The itinerary was not followed. Some because of the closure of the streets ( swearing the new president of Bolivia). However we were supposed to see the St Francisco church and we didn’t. I think we should’ve been advised about the situation. Maybe we would have changed the date. Overall not worth of the money we paid for.

5.00Had a great time with our tour guide, Milena! She gave some great insights about the area and answered any questions I had. Getting to do a loop in the cable cars was something I'll never forget, La Paz is such a beautiful city and best seen from up high.

5.00Our guide John was very considerate, and mindful that I wasn’t getting too tired, had plenty of rests and water. Greatly appreciated being an older woman, and there was a lot of walking. He was knowledgeable and interesting to talk to. A lovely young man who has me wanting to come back to La Paz again to see more.

5.00Moon Valley is an incredibly weird, but also incredibly interesting and cool place. The name is appropriate -- it really does seem like some kind of strange moonscape. We were told that filmed part of a recent Star Wars film there, because it looks like an alien planet. Several animals were sighted there, a few rabbit-like creatures and a small bird of prey. I was a bit worried about the cable cars as I have a fear of heights, but they are quite safe, and a wonderful way to get around La Paz. Seeing the city from above like this is highly recommended. Our guide Rolando was great. I really appreciated his philosophical musings about the valley, and progress/construction in the area, and how informed he was about the area generally. His love for La Paz and Bolivia and especially Mooon Valley was palpable and really showed in the way he conducted his tour. We enjoyed the tour Rolando gave us, but we also generally enjoyed talking with him. He represented La Paz perfectly. One negative thing, at least from my perspective, was the final part of the tour, in the Witches Market. I'm an animal lover, and did not really like seeing dead baby llamas hanging from the witch market ceilings. I found this rather disturbing, if I am honest, though it certainly seemed authentic!
