5.00We had the best experience when we visited Roatan on one of our cruise ports. I booked the excursion directly with Alpha tours and they were great. We were greeted by Hendry, who was a wonderful tour guide. Took us to see the city from the top, we visited a nature preserve, a chocolate factory and rum factory. Ending our tour at a beautiful refreshing beach where we enjoyed some drinks and snacks. We enjoyed the tour very much and Hendry made us feel right at home, he made our trip 10/10.

5.00This was THE BEST tour. Emmanuel was our guide for the day. He answered many questions we had about the island. We then spent a couple hours with Kevin. Kevin helped us with the monkeys, Sloths & Toucans. When we finished we got back in the van and we went to a chocolate factory and a rum place. We had samples at both places. Our next stop was Bananarama beach where we had great food and drinks. We spent time in the beach and were back to port with two hours to spare. I will 100% do this again if I get the chance.

5.00Our experience with Alpha Tours was spectacular!! We had a private tour with Emmanuel who is an excellent tour guide. A young professional, with good attitude who guided us and explained in detail the history of the island and each place we visited. The animal park was cozy, clean and the animals were free enjoying their “habitat”, the ATV superrrrr excursion, the rum and chocolate factory very good and in the place where we had first class lunch, affordable prices and a great view. I recommend ALPHA TOURS 100%.

5.00I cant say enough good things about Alpha Tours. We had so much fun, they took their time with us. This was the best tour we have ever been on. Charlotte was the best tour guide ever. If you go to Rotan you have to book through Alpha Tours do not book through the cruise ship. You do so much more with Aloha Tours. I can not say enough about our tour guide. You have to ask for Charlotte she was the absolute best.

5.00Great experience with Alpha Tours! From setting up the booking and car seats for the kids with Joshua to our tour with Emmanuel was all incredible! Emmanuel was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the island and made our day in Roatan fantastic!

5.00We were cautious about booking outside of Royal Caribbean because we had never been to Roatan before, but I read the reviews about Alpha Tours and decided to choose them. BEST decision ever! We were met right outside of the gate by Eduardo, our guide. He was absolutely wonderful!! We at all times felt safe and taken care of! We got to hold sloths and monkeys and went to West Bay Beach.... The water was GORGEOUS!!! Such a perfect day in every single way.... Thank you Alpha Tours and a special thanks to Eduardo for taking such great care of us!!!!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

5.00We are currently on a western Caribbean cruise via Royal Caribbean. One of our ports of call was Roatan, Honduras. We noticed the ship offered a sloth encounter which we seriously considered. My wife’s colleague just so happened to be on the same cruise the week prior. She recommended calling Joshua @ Alpha Tours Roatan We were a party of 9 and were able to book a whole day private tour via Joshua. The itinerary included the sloth / animal sanctuary, a chocolate factory experience, a rum distillery experience, lunch at a local spot, and lastly time at the beach The communication with Joshua was very easy (communicated via FB MESSENGER) he provided very clear details on where to go the day we arrived in Port. Him and the driver met us right outside of the gates to the cruise port. Was very easy to find him and we were on our way. They stock the van with cold beverages for everyone to enjoy(included in your) you also can leave any non valuable belongings in the van as you set out on foot which is nice Our first stop once we departed was the sloth experience. I might have to do a separate review for thst but it was so much fun. The whole family was able to hold and interact with so many animals that I’ve only seen at zoo exhibits. Want a monkey to jump onto your shoulder and eat? Sure thing… You want to carry a sloth and cradle it. Sure thing. So much fun. 2nd stop was a trip to a local chocolate factory(when I say factory these are small roadside buildings) they let you sample the various chocolates they produce and you are welcome to purchase. (They gladly accept USD as well as credit cards) 3rd stop we stopped at a small souvenir shop to buy some locally made goods. Nothing special but was nice to interact with the locals and purchase some stuff to bring back to the states 4th was a pit stop at a local rum shop that had stunning views of the coastline. You can sample the rum and rum cakes. Also available for purchase Stopped for a quick lunch before hitting the beach. Was a Jamaican inspired restaurant. Was able to get some decent jerk chicken and a cold beer. No language barrier I might add. A lot of English speaking folks Last stop was the beach on what was the “wealthy” end of the island. Lots of activities, food, drink, and souvenirs. The beach was beautiful, the water clear and calm. Just what you would expect around these parts Joshua was so cool to spend the day with. Answering all of our questions while also immersing us the the history or the island. Most people get nervous abt booking a non cruise line excursion, but have no fear. Josh is very mindful of the time and ensuring he gets you back to port with plenty of time to spare. Also shout out to the driver Marco. I come from New York where driving is intense. This was another level over here is Roatan. He has skills! I hope this review helps any of you who happen to be visiting Roatan via one of the cruise lines. This was by far our favorite stop so far on this cruise. I cannot recommend this place enough. Book a tour with Joshua…you won’t regret it
