Tour of the main tourist places of the city of La Paz.
Among our main activities we present you a tour of the CABLE CAR RIDE.
City, from where we will be able to make spectacular photographic shoots of the "Urbe Paceña".
Later we descend to the residential area of the city to go to the famous
VALLEY OF DE MOON extraordinary geological formation, which resembles a Lunar landscape,
in this we will make a short walk of 15 minutes (aprox).
We continue our journey, returning to the old town,
HISTORICAL CENTER of La Paz, to visit the Main Square
"PEDRO DOMINGO MURILLO" and its most representative buildings.

You will visit the famous BRUGES MARKET. this market teaches us about the typical Andean rituals to ask favors from Mother Earth, as well as to thank her for her blessings. Jointly is the ARTESANAL MARKET, a place where visitors can buy typical crafts of our country. Visit to the CHURCH OF SAN FRANCISCO, of colonial architecture, that teaches us a little about the Baroque mestizo decoration and inside the beautiful colonial paintings. You enter one of the most emblematic streets of the city, LA CALLE JAEN. It is distinguished from other streets by preserving its colonial architecture, and gives you the opportunity to learn a little about the history, within the different museums that are located there. To finish this urban adventure, you are offered a tour of the exteriors of SAN PEDRO PRISON.

4.00Visiting La paz, is like living the history of the past in its streets, I recommend you to visit it is very cute there are a number of restaurants of all kinds and a variety of hotels and lodging centers.

3.00The tour included driving and walking around the city of La Paz. We visited the Valley of the Moon and rode on three different skyway lines. This was the highlight of the tour, seeing a large part of the city from above.

5.00La Paz - the town at 3,600 m (the airport is at 3,850 m) is located in a valley basin and from there countless cable cars lead up to the mountains to the residential areas - operation between 06,00 and 21,00 h so that people do not have to travel to work with buses or cars on blocked roads. Behind it, the peaks of the 7,000-meter peaks stand out The old town is fascinating, the condition of the buildings very well preserved. Bolivia is the "poorest country" in this South American region. P.S. All cable cars were built by the Austrian company Doppelmayr (so far 11 lanes).

5.00This was a great and wonderful opportunity to know La Paz and its history better. Our guide Daniel and the driver Diego made this day a unique experience. Daniel took us to the most important places of the city and showed us the amazing and impressive aspects of La Paz from the ”teleferico”. The tour finished with the spectacular visit at the Moon Valley. Daniel was not a common guide, he showed his enthusiasm to work with us turists and his passion and proud for his country. He was really caring and aware about our needs, helping us with the Spanish and our food allergy. This was an amazing experience, thank you!

5.00We went with Johnny and Daniel, who were very hospitable. We went to the moon valley, did the city tour via the cable car and then to the local market. Overall, a great experience.

2.00This tour was advertised as "customizable" and we told the tour operator how we would like to customize it, which is to add a few stops on the way for us to sample the local street food, and coincidentally, these stops were not additional but in the same vicinity where we were going to be. The operator agreed, and we took the tour. First of all, the English tour guide that was included in the price is a young (very kind) man who spoke English but did not know much about his city. He was there with us but did not provide any explanation about anything, and when we had questions, he would tell us that he didn't know. He was basically hanging out with his friend, who was the driver and they were having their personal conversation the whole time. Also, although we paid for six hours including lunch, the tour lasted less than five hours and we didn't have any lunch. When we asked the operator, he claimed that we said we were not hungry, which needless to say, we didn't. He was also very defensive and didn't present any apology when we told him about our dissatisfaction after the fact. We loved the city and the people and this does not reflect negatively on our experience there, but this particular tour is not what it promised to be and I would not recommend it.

4.00We enjoyed our Private City Tour with Daniel Dabalos-Bautista. He was very friendly and accommodating. Enriched us with the history and culture of La Paz. The cable car rides were awesome. Our driver was wonderful. Thank you both. Highly Recommended!

4.00I had a wonderful day with David and Sergio as they showed me La Paz as only residents can. First it was off to the famous cable car system to view the many districts of the city and take in some breathtaking views of Bolivia. From there is on to a local morning snack before heading out to the Valley of the Moon and area outside of La Paz which when attacked by erosion has left a moon like landscape. We then journeyed into the City Center to see the Main Square, the seat of government. We finished the day with a pizza lunch at the old train station which is now a cable car stop with some restaurants as well. This proved to be a 6 hour day and left some wonderful impressions of La Paz and its surroundings. I give this tour a 4 as cable car and Valley of the Moon tickets were not included, lunch and a hotel pickup and drop-off. The car was new and comfortable the team picked up right on time. I learned alot and had a nice with the two young guides.
