Excellent Tour Experience in Mumbai and Elephanta Caves

5.00What a beautiful experience from start to finish! My mom and I were traveling to India by ourselves and we wanted to get to know Mumbai's historical landmarks, culture, an history. The tour with Jayshree as our guide was excellent and seamless. She and the driver picked us up at our hotel and planned a great itinerary around the city. Jayshree also went to the Elephanta Caves, where we had another amazing guide local to the island give us a tour, and we really enjoyed learning more about the Hindu religion in an ancient place. I felt like we could ask Jayshree absolutely anything and she had an answer. If I could do it again, I would stay longer in Mumbai so I could take advantage of the Bollywood tour package that they also offer! Definitely have to go back for that, you get to go on the set of a Bollywood movie. Also, as two women alone, my mother and I felt extremely safe the entire time. 10/10 would recommend, thank you!

5.00The tour was a great insight into the vast city of Mumbai. The Driver was reliable and helpful. Aarti the guide was excellent and great fun to be with. She was knowledgeable and insightful, particularly on the Dharavi slum tour where she took me to her family's house. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

5.00In addition to the city tour we also had a slum tour and a food tour. All in one day, great. The slum tour was very impressive and the guide talked about it with great passion. Our guide was Aarti. A very friendly lady with a lot of knowledge. Definitely recommended. Just very nice as she did it. Highly recommended! Antonia and Winehold Forest

5.00We had an amazing time. Jaya was brilliant and having her as a tour guide with all his knowledge of the city really brought things to life for us. My partner and I had a great time listening to the history but also the new modern parts of Mumbai and the cultural changes. We experienced both traditional tourist places but also experience the temples and less places of significance. Also, we were treated to a chai and tea and black tea which was freshly made. Tasted amazing! We had such a great day and would recommend to anyone.

5.00Highly recommend So glad we chose a private tour! We were picked up at our hotel by Rahul who expertly drove us around Mumbai while the very knowledgeable guide, Jaya, gave us her brilliant commentary of the highlights of the city. We found out lots about Mumbai that we would have missed out on without this tour. It's well worth the money and time and we would highly recommend any tour with Jaya and Rahul.

5.00Outstanding tour led by Jayashree. We had only a couple days left on our visit, and wanted to hit as many of the sights as possible. Jayashree was informative, knowledgeable, personable, and most appreciatively - flexible. From North Mumbai and the film study tour with dancing, to south Mumbai’s hot spots - the entire day was a hit. Do not miss your chance to learn a little history, while having fun!

5.00Fantastic Mumbai Tour Wonderful day trip with Jaya she was a great guide. Jaya and our driver picked up our group of 5 people from our hotel. Jaya suggested our route as we had seen many places of interest already on another Mumbai tour. We started with lunch in the Taj Palace which was a great experience, we then went into the railway station and actually went inside having seen the outside the previous day, this was a real eye opener. We then saw numerous other Mumbai places of interest and Jaya gave us many interesting facts about the City. After visiting a huge open air laundry and market area in Dadah. Dharavi was amazing and probably for me the highlight, Jaya took us through the commercial and residential areas with his knowledge of the area being a huge asset, he knew many people in the area. I would throughly recommend Bombay Wanderlust and Jaya, I also like that they return a percentage of the profits to slum areas to help the people living in those areas.

5.00My friend and I flew in for a business trip and spent Sunday on this tour. What a perfect way to experience Mumbai before starting the work week! Our guide Jaya was excellent explaining the historical background of each place we visited and I feel I learned so much about India and Mumbai in such a short amount of time. If you're short on time and want to get in as much as you can on a Mumbai trip, I highly recommend going on this tour. Our driver ritesh was also great and made us feel safe while moving to different locations around the city.
