Kinvara
Dunguaire Castle. Built by the O'Flahertys c. 1500, Aughnanure Castle lies in picturesque surroundings close to the shores of Lough Corrib. Standing on what is virtually a rocky island, the castle is a particularly well-preserved example of an Irish tower house.
Poulnabrone Dolmen
Situated on the high Burren limestone plateau, Poulnabrone Dolmen is one of Ireland’s most iconic archaeological monuments and is the second most visited location in the Burren after the Cliffs of Moher. It is the oldest dated megalithic monument in Ireland.

5.00Brilliant day out. Fergus was an excellent guide - made sure we saw the sights at the best times and in the best conditions possible, and had great insights into the historical and social context. The collies at the sheepdog display were extraordinarily smart, the Cliffs of Moher breathtaking, the Burren landscape alien and beautiful. We saw castles, an abbey, and a traditional pub. Couldn’t have wished for a better designed day out. It was the highlight of our holiday. What’s more, we got expert advice on restaurants and evening entertainment. Thanks Fergus!

5.00Christian was so informative and knew endless amounts about Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. The sheepdog demonstration was so much fun to see and my kids loved that they got to pet the sheepdogs. It was a great tour.
Galway is fantastic with Fergus!

5.00We had such a wonderful day on our private Cliffs of Moher tour with Bogdan. He was funny, informative, kind, accommodating, and never made us feel rushed. Some of our favorite parts were visiting Newtown Castle, the beautiful countryside views, the chocolate, the sheep herding demonstration, the Cliffs of Moher, and all the little coastal stops and drives along the way that we never would have found on our own. We also loved meeting Pablo at the natural spring!🫏 As others have said, the private car tour was completely worth it. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

5.00We have done a couple private driving tours around the world, and our day trip with Fergus was by far the best! He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and an overall great guy to be around for the day. This was the part of our trip that we were most looking forward to, and it exceeded expectations. The cliffs were beautiful, but the sheep dog demonstration was the highlight of our trip. If you also don’t want to brave the roads of Ireland by yourself in a rental, I would highly, highly recommend!!

5.00Hugo was a delightful guide, full of history and stories of Ireland. He was also straight out of Central Casting for an Irish gentleman. The Cliffs of Moher were a highlight, as was lunch in a small Irish town.

5.00Our guide, John, was positively amazing. He took us to many unexpected places and introduced us to some very interesting facets of Irish history. His experience and ability to guide the tour according to my interests made this a five star experience!

5.00Fergus was a fantastic guide that immediately made us feel welcome. Our pickup time was scheduled for 9 AM and Fergus called a few minutes early to let us know he was ready and waiting for us downstairs. He showed his deep love and appreciation of the Irish countryside and hidden gems that we would have otherwise never seen. He answered every question we had and is a fantastic conversationalist. He showed his undivided attention and hope he enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed his. Other than the understandable volume of tourists at the Cliffs of Moher, he expertly avoided tour busses so our adventure would be a much needed respite from the city. Important to note, if you choose to visit the Caherconnell sheepdog demonstration, Cliffs of Moher, or other locations which require admission those are a separate charge. Personally, I would absolutely recommend both the cliff and sheepdogs, you can pet the dogs after the demonstration! I’m grateful for the fantastic conversation and knowledge Fergus shared with us on our journey. This tour is ideal for small groups, about 2-4 people as it is in a sedan.

5.00An amazing experience! DC is full of fascinating information regarding Ireland’s history. He did a wonderful job tailoring our tour and made all the right stops. Hazel Mountain Chocolate factory was interesting and the chocolate is out of this world. The Cliffs of Moher were an incredible site. Would highly recommend this wonderful tour!
