Cooking class in the the only facility in Rome, set up to do cooking classes for tourists. Private class with this menu: Ravioli, Tagliolini cacio e pepe and tiramisu. Perfect experience for families or couples.

My culinary school was created with these purpose: helping people on making their own italian meal individually and really hands on; so I set up my facility to small groups, even just couples, on individual work stations with cooktops.

What I provide is a unique and exclusive experience: to cook like a real italian, even for beginners, taught by an authentic roman chef. This is a private experience, just you and the chef. Everybody has a work station with a cooktop to let everybody cook individually following instructions step by step and after that you get to eat your well deserved meal! Obviously practice makes perfect, so I will email you the recipes of what we do together in order to replicate that in your home. 1) Welcome drink with prosecco 2) Homemade pizza tasting 3) Hands-on cooking class: Handmade Ravioli from scratch 4) Fresh tomato sauce from scratch 5) Fettuccine cacio e pepe 6) Traditional Tiramisù 7) Water and wine included 8) 3 Hours training with a professional 9) Video recipes

My partner and I had the absolute pleasure of taking a private cooking class with Chef Matteo, and it exceeded all of our expectations. I highly recommend One Day Chef Academy for beginners and veteran cooks alike. Focusing on traditional family recipes while incorporating modern techniques, Chef Matteo added his Italian sense of humor to the class. We did not need a reservation ahead of time and Chef Matteo was able to schedule us for the next day when we walked in to asking about his cooking class. There are two One Day Chef Academy locations. Both are within 10 minutes from each other. Whether you are looking to learn pastries, pasta, or pizza from scratch while in Rome, you must visit Chef Matteo at One Day Chef Academy.

I went to the class with my wife and sister who are both excellent cooks. I don’t cook. I was expecting to go through motions and then eat their food at the end. Instead, I actually got into it and had a lot of fun - and ate the food that I cooked at the end. The key was Matteo, who was very skilled and knowledgeable of his craft with a subtle but funny sense of humor. He kept us all engaged the entire time. And the food we made was simple and delicious. I highly recommend.

My family had an amazing experience cooking with Chef Matteo. He was very knowledgeable and easy going. The food we prepared was just incredible!! This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Rome, especially for our 11 year old who absolutely loves to cook.

This event was wonderful from start to finish! Mateo is an excellent instructor and chef. We made a three course meal and I can't wait to make it again for my family.

We learned taboos of Italian cooking we have practiced for years like not using egg wash for Ravioli or adding oil to pasta water. We learned how to knead dough and that simplicity was sometimes best.

A highlight of our trip to Rome was a cooking class with Matteo/ One Day Chef. Matteo was able to modify the class for me (who loves to cook) and my husband (who rarely cooks.) It was very much fun for both of us. Matteo is quite professional and had an honest answer for every question we could possible ask. So glad that we are now making pasta, sauce and dessert the right way!!

Matteo was a fantastic teacher and coached us each individually on Italian cooking techniques. We learned so much and had a fantastic meal. Highly recommend his cooking class! Great atmosphere and a great teacher!
