In the morning we will depart from Keelung port and head to Taipei, where we'll visit the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, a mausoleum to the former dictator who ruled Taiwan for decades and that is located next to the majestic buildings of the National Theater and the National Auditorium.
Taipei 101
One of Taiwan’s most recognized landmarks is the iconic Taipei 101 skyscraper, completed in 2004 and the world’s tallest building until 2009. The observation deck on the top floors of the building offers 360º views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Not surprisingly, Taipei 101 resides in the business district of Taipei, surrounded by Taiwan’s most expensive and luxurious apartments and the highest concentration of shopping malls in the world. At first glance, you’d never believe that just 60 years ago, this area was entirely rice fields! In this tour, we will show you around Xinyi District, and share its vibe and history.

5.00With our guide Christian we had an excellent time in Taipei. Due to the private tour, he picked us up directly at the terminal (our luggage was safely stored the whole day in the car) and he showed us a lot of Taipei’s culture spots explaining the history and stories in a fascinating way. We had a great time with him in Taipei. The famous dumpling lunch in the 101 Tower was a delicious highlight (see foto with Christian). Thanks for everything Christian you are without a doubt an excellent guide!!!

5.00We were communicated with well prior to our tour. On our tour day, we were met by Peter. Peter was a great guy and wanted to show us the best of Taipei. On our way into town, a member of our party asked about a special cake made there. He immediately diverted so we could stop at that store and be the first in line to pick up some boxes of these delicious treats! He was more than willing to customize our tour to meet our needs. He took us around the town showing us many interesting features. Our tour ended with a delicious dim sum meal at Taipei 101. His only concern was our happiness. I would highly recommend this tour and Peter for anyone wanting a good day touring in Taipei, Taiwan!

5.00Cristian is without a doubt an excellent option. We all ended up learning and getting to know many topics. Our children and we definitely recommend it. He knows how to explain the story in such a way that you don't stop paying attention. With our eyes closed we recommend it!

5.00Jessica met us at the port and gave us a great first hand tour of Taipai. Our dumpling lunch was delicious and we saw the changing of the guards and had our first bubble tea. Our group of 8 had a great day out and we arrived back at the port in time for our ship to sail.

5.00Jessica was a great guide who was very helpful on our great day out in Taipai. The whole day was very interesting and our dumpling lunch was delicious. Changing of the guards was interesting and our bubble tea was a first.
