We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am in the morning in private transport and drive about 20 minutes to the hills above Cusco. We will visit the amazing Inca sites of Puka Pukara (an Inca military outpost) Tambomachay (where you can see Inca aqueducts), and finally visit the massive boulders that make up the ruins at Sacsayhuaman. After taking time to enjoy the majestic views over Cusco, we will be picked up by our driver and return to Cusco to have lunch at a restaurant at the main square. After lunch, we will have in-depth city tour of Cusco where we will visit the San Pedro Market which is a local, non-touristic market. Then we will visit all of the best sites in Cusco including the Cathedral, the temple of the sun, and if we have time, the museum where all of the original artifacts from Machu Picchu are located.

Puka Pukara

This tour will take you to three Inca archaeological sites. You will be met by your guide at your hotel at 8:30am and we will be driven in private transport 20 minutes to the Inca archaeological site of Puka Pukara or red rock which was previously a military site.

We took the city tour with the Valentin's Pachamama team and were very well taken care of. We took the tour to the most popular and interesting places around Cusco and also to the city's tourist attractions. Our guide, Hernesto, was very knowledgeable about the city's history and also about ancient civilizations. If you're looking for an exclusive experience, it's definitely worth it.

We had the pleasure of Valentin and Kenny for our tour guides. This tour was top notch and we loved all Valentin taught us, he had so much knowledge. I would recommend this tour company for anything you want to do, it seems Valentin does anything and everything with all the knowledge to back it up!

Valentin and his son have been incredible guides for a day full of history, culture and activities! Valentin is an expert guide with whom we toured all of Cusco. You can tell that he is very well prepared and passionate about his work. At the end of the day, they told us about their mission to create schools and meeting places for children in Peru, and thanks to our visit, we also contributed to this cause. It was a beautiful end to the day, and we are happy that part of the proceeds will go to such a noble purpose. Highly recommended!

Booked the private full day tour of Cusco for my mother and me and had an amazing time! Valentin and Kenny were so knowledgeable about the cultural significance of every single stop and answered all of our questions along the way. We both learned so much about Incan culture and their way of life, and seeing the sites by ourselves just wouldn’t have been the same. It was also our first full day in Cusco, and they went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortably acclimating to the elevation during the tour. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful full day tour exploring the ruins that surround Cusco. Our guide Simon was very knowledgable. He provided lots of history of the Inka empire that engaged the whole family. The tour also took us to the Cathedral and the San Pedro Market. Our driver Daniel was punctual, fun and also provided information of the places that we visited.

Valentin was one of the major reasons our group's trip to Peru was such an amazing experience for everybody. He is funny, charming, and so incredibly knowledgeable about a myriad of topics. We did three day trips with him - Cusco/Sacsayhuaman, Moray/Maras/Chinchero, and Ollantaytambo/Pisac - and he gave us such a great understanding and appreciation of Incan culture and history. He also answered every question we threw at him regarding current events, local wildlife, etc. He is an extraordinary person who has lived a fascinating life. More importantly, he is committed to giving back to his community, raising money to support children, education, and porters across the Andes communities. I highly recommend him and his team for the experience of a lifetime.

Valentine did a two day tour for a group of us traveling in Cusco and the Sacred Valley of Peru. Valentine is so knowledgeable about Inca history and culture and brought this to us in an intelligent and accessible way. He was attentive to our needs. He spent time to explain the sites. He explained many things about Peruvian culture. We received so much from him in such a short time. His driver was excellent and the van was comfortable. His english is excellent. I highly recommend Valentine for any tour in the Sacred valley or Cusco.
