Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan)
pick up u from Guilin any hotel at 9:30 am, first destination is Reed flute cave, it will take 30 minutes to drive and reach this cave, there are 240 metres deep in this cave, it's a “U" shape, we have to walk around 500 metres inside, it will take around 1 hour ti visit it, with its location 7 kilometers northwest of the downtown of Guilin, the Reed Flute Cave is a brilliant cave marked on almost all travel itineraries. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, it was reputed a natrual art palace. purchase tickets on-site with your passport for CNY90 each person.
Daxu Ancient Town
second destination is Daxu ancient town, from Reed flute cave to this ancient town, it will take 1 hour to drive and reach Daxu Ancient Town which is situated at the east bank of the Li River, 23 km (14.3 miles) southeast of Guilin City. Having a history of more than 1000 years, the town originally formed in the early Northern Song Dynasty and was the leader of four renowned ancient towns in Guangxi Province as early as 600 years ago. Fine examples of the town's long history include: the Gaozu Temple, the Hanhuang Temple built in the Qing Dynasty the assembly halls, and the two-kilometer long bluestone street lined with many well maintained buildings. While visiting the town, the Longevity Bridge cannot be missed. Built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it is a stone arch both natural and simplistic in its beauty. With the Li River at its west side, it is an excellent place to appreciate the charming scenery of the river. it will take one hour to visit it.

5.00Provider totally flexible - I accidentally booked three days early - at no further cost a tour was possible on a later day. Jason the tour guide spoke fluent English, knew the best places to take photos, shortcuts to the bats and responded individually to my wishes. Of course totally helpful in China to have someone who can communicate in Mandarin

5.00We are a family of three traveling from Los Angeles to Guilin, and our trip required several last-minute changes due to train rescheduling and weather conditions. Throughout it all, Jerry was incredibly accommodating and flexible, adjusting our itinerary seamlessly at every step. When the weather prevented us from going up the mountains, Jerry thoughtfully arranged an alternative visit to an off-the-beaten-path town, which turned out to be a wonderful and memorable experience. 5.00I had a fantastic day exploring Guilin with my private guide, Jack Wen, and the entire experience was seamless, enjoyable, and highly informative. Jack’s knowledge of the region is truly impressive—he brought every site to life with rich historical context, local insights, and clear explanations that made everything much more meaningful. Just as importantly, his friendliness and easygoing personality made the day feel relaxed and comfortable, always attentive and happy to answer any questions. 5.00We had an amazing Guilin & Yangshuo tour experience, all thanks to our guide Jerry. He was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the trip, especially towards my mom. He always made sure the pace was comfortable for her and planned the itinerary with her limited walking in mind, which we truly appreciated. Jerry recommended many beautiful spots, and our most memorable moments were the motor ride along Yulong River and the visit to Xianggong Shan — the views were absolutely stunning and unforgettable. What stood out most was his honesty and professionalism. He proactively offered refunds for attractions we opted out of last minute, and handled last-minute changes smoothly, including train tickets and alternative sightseeing plans. His flexibility and calm approach made everything stress-free for us. He was also very accommodating to our requests, including payment arrangements, which made the experience even more pleasant and convenient. 5.00If you’re planning a trip to Guilin, you definitely need to book a tour with Jerry. He was the best tour guide we had during our trip to China. Jerry is both the guide and the driver, which makes everything much more efficient and smooth. He knows everything about the places, gives great tips, and can organize a full day with amazing spots. On top of that, he takes fantastic photos! He’s very punctual and planned everything perfectly. The cave, the boat tour and the evening show are absolutely worth it — they’re truly amazing! Totally recommend!

5.00We hired Jerry for this day trip and wanted to customize it to suit our specific wishes. Not only was Jerry super easy to communicate with from the get go, he provided exactly what we asked for! We had an informative tour of Daxu Historic town (he knows the area very well) we then moved on to our Li River cruise, which we upgraded to the 4 hour VIP cruise. He promptly met us when our boat trip ended and from there we climbed Xianggong hill, went on a super fun and safe bike/scooter ride(our favorite), spontaneously went for street food and ended at the night show. Jerry drives a clean comfortable vehicle, he goes far out of his way to make sure his guests are very well cared for, he took photos as we progressed through our day and sent them to us....I really cannot recommend him more highly! Hire Jerry for a fabulous custom day if you visit Guillin/Yangshuo.
