Blue Grotto Il-Hnejja
Whatever time of year you happen to visit, a boat ride through these marvellous caves is a voyage you’re unlikely ever to forget. With phenomenally clear blue waters, resulting from its unique chemical composition of minerals, visibility within the caves is truly second to none. And if visited in sunny weather, colourful pink, orange, turquoise and green hotspots can be seen reflecting magically off the water onto the limestone walls of the caves. If viewed from the cliffs above, the caves appear framed by a majestic arch, and with unobstructed views of the island of Filfla, it is truly a sight to behold.
Valletta
Often described as an open-air museum and a living piece of history, Valletta’s streets and sights will have you wandering around to marvel at all its beauty. The Baroque architecture adorns all corners of the small city, and there are plenty of historical buildings to admire. Though the city was built on a peninsula of only 1km by 600m, Europe’s southernmost capital is abundant in historical sights. UNESCO described Valletta as “one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world” when it named Valletta a World Heritage Site. You will find some of Europe’s finest artworks, churches and palaces in Valletta.

5.00Our private day tour of Malta with Justin Bonnici was the highlight of our time on the island. We booked Justin for six hours which was the perfect amount of time to see and tour all the major historical and religious sites. Justin knew all the great locations away from the crowds and traffic and made a fun stop for the famous Maltese Pastissi's at Is Serkin's Crystal Palace. He answered our many questions about the history and culture and in addition is a terrific driver and lovely person. Highly recommend a private day tour as the best way to experience Malta!

5.00Justin, a native of Malta, met us just outside the cruise terminal an whisked us away to ancient and secret places. We viewed ancient limstone quarries that supplied stone for centuries to build and rebuild Malta. We saw ancient temples that were here before the Pyramids of Egypt. Justin took us to places of the beaten path, explaining the history of Malta and the dynasties that existed here, and the changes that have occurred in the 20th century. How Malta is moving from WWII devastation to the yachting capital of the Mediterranean. You should definitely book with Justin for a educational tour of Malta.

5.00Justin is an awesome tour guide and driver! He selected a number of interesting sites to show us that we were unaware of. His knowledge of the history of Malta was extensive. We had more than enough time to explore the sites which made it very enjoyable. If you want to see lots in a short period of time, this is the tour to take. We really enjoyed the day and highly recommend this tour!

5.00Perfect day, can’t wait to come back! Justin’s communication was absolutely first class. Absolute gentleman. My daughter and I chose him to take us around his homeland and show us about life in Malta. We loved every second. He was accommodating, thoughtful and gave us great tips. We somehow managed to avoid crowds, queues and saw so much! From savouring our maltese coffee to sampling the prickly pear juice, we had a fabulous day. I have saved his number so we can use him next time we are in Malta. Great guy, great service, book him!!!

I booked the tour last minute and it turned out to be one of our best days in Malta as Justin personalised the tour to what we wanted to see and treated us to some local specialities of pastizzi and Kinnie whilst also providing a local knowledge and fun facts. It was such a relaxed day in the comfortable of his immaculately clean vehicle. He was very generous with his time and didn't rush the finish, providing extra time so that we could visit one more highlight destination. We even booked him again to take us ti the airport on our departure day. Excellent communication and super punctual. Thanks again Justin for an unforgettable day.

5.00We had a fantastic private tour of Malta yesterday morning with Justin! From the very first moment, he shared so many great insider tips and stories that gave us a real feel for the island. What we appreciated most was how relaxed and flexible he was — even when our tour went a bit over the scheduled time, it was no problem at all. In fact, he encouraged us to take our time and really enjoy every stop. As a wonderful surprise, Justin even took us to see the beautiful Mosta Dome at the end of the tour, although it wasn’t originally included in our itinerary. Thanks to him, we got to experience all the most beautiful and interesting sides of Malta in just one day. An absolutely amazing experience — highly recommended for anyone visiting Malta!

5.00Justin was so incredibly helpful and professional. He has a kind disposition and wonderful can-do attitude. We loved riding with him, and he made us feel pretty comfortable and safe while riding the many narrow roads. Justin is very knowledgeable of the area, so getting to places of our interest was really easy. We loved riding through the countryside! Cab was modern, squeaky clean with a very comfortable cabin environment and seats.
