During this day you can ride a cable car up to 4,000 meters elevation, (Teleferico) for amazing views of the Volcanoes, you can also visit the Middle of the World site the Monument or/ and the Intinan Museum.

5.00We had an awesome time getting to know the city of Quito and Ecuador in general. Our guide was always punctual picking us up at each stop and introducing us to the local guides at the sites. Between stops we discussed culture, history, celebrations of holidays, healthcare, and much more. We toured the equator educational park and was mesmerized to learn the implications of 00 latitude. We visited the equator museum and enjoyed the band competition of the high school students who were there that day. I was surprised how high we went up on the cable car to get a spectacular view of the area. Upon decent, we walked into old town seeing the many ornate churches. When we visited the Presidential square, the band and men on horseback made a ceremony announcing the president of Ecuador and the president of Peru who spoke to the crowd. We ate in traditional food in a picturesque restaurant. Afterwords we walked to the San Francisco square and tasted chocolate. After returning to our car, we had parked at the Basilica and it was like we had saved the best for last. We logged 10,167 steps for the day. So glad that we had prepared with the medications to prevent altitude sickness.

5.00This was an incredible full day adventure. Caesar, our guide was very knowledgeable, explaining all about Ecuador, Quito, the people and places - just great! We saw so many things starting with the Basilica and then a walk through the old city area, getting great info throughout. That walk included an informative and tasty stop at a chocolate business which was very nice. We then had the option to choose from a couple of next sites and we choose the Virgin statue on the hilltop - breathtaking. Lunch was with our guide at a local restaurant which was very good. Then we went to Middle of the World and a scenic overlook of the Pululahua Volcano crater. Visiting and standing on the Equator was really neat! Everything was amazing. We were picked up and returned to our hotel 8 hrs later!! The only recommendation is (unless we missed it) to say bring cash for entrance fees to places. Not a lot needed though. We had a fantastic day and loved it. Highly recommend this tour!!!

5.00We really enjoyed our day with Freddy! He picked us up at our hotel and asked if we had any "must do" items. We had a few in mind but also took his recommendations as he is a native of Quito and has a lot of experience as a guide. We headed up the cable car and had amazing views on the clear day. Next we went to the old town Quito and explored some of the churches and historic sites. We grabbed lunch and headed to the center of the world (the Equator). The museum there was great. We headed back to the hotel after. Make sure to take cash as you will need to pay entry fees to most attractions.

5.00We had a lovely and interesting day! Our guides we knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and totally willing to accommodate us based on our interests. No pressure to see places we weren't interested in, and no pressure to buy anything. We recommend them to anyone coming to visit Ecuador!

5.00We were very lucky to have found Jamie and Angela (Let's Go to Ecuador) and receive knowledgeable and attentive service since our first communication. They presented us a detailed daily itinerary for our big party and were very accommodating to any changes we requested. Unfortunately, our plans to Quito changed and had to cancel our scheduled tour, but will without a doubt go with Jamie and Angela when we're ready next time.
Freddy was our guide, very personable and interacted very well. Good command of English. Taught us so much about Ecuador

5.00Freddy was a wonderful guide. The kids enjoyed his humor and insightful knowledge of Quito and Ecuador in general. He even gave recommendations on places to visit in Cuenca where we were headed next. I highly recommend this tour!
