Saqqara is the biggest archeological site in Egypt and Contains over than 10000 Tombs and 16 Pyramids , you will have the chance to visit the first decorated pyramid from inside for king Unas from the fifth dynasty , during the day you will visit as well the ancient capital Memphis, and Dahshur Pyramids. The tour’s start time is flexible, but usually the tour starts around 8 AM, takes a duration of Six to 8 hours, and ends around 4 PM. This private tour includes Pick-Up with our air-conditioned vehicles at your requested location, and Drop Off at your requested location. The tour also provides Entry Fees + Taxes Services, Tour Guides with long experience , and a bottle of water. .

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids

First, Pick Up from Requested Location by your Tour guide to start your Journey across the three ancient necropolises. The tour will start by visiting the Saqqara necropolis, where you will visit the Pyramid of Djoser. This pyramid is the earliest colossal stone building in the world. This structure is a fundamental part of the Egyptian history as other pyramids was based on it with improvements.

The oldest stone structure in the entire world is the step pyramid of king Djoser dates back to 2670 BC ,The pyramid is a part from huge complex (Colonnaded Entrance -Sed Festival complex- Enclosure wall , North and south Pavilions ,Southern Tomb and thousand of tombs around ) With your advanced tour guide you will know a a lot more about king Djoser, his talented architect Imhotep and the new discoveries in Saqqara. Very intersting tour to the archeological site of Sakkara. Our guide Menna was very knowledgeable and her English was very good. She told us all about the history of Egypt and the pyramids. Enjoyed every bit of learning sbout the Step Pyramid. Our driver was Mohammed he was good driver and a polite person. The tours to see the Pyramids in Dashshur was good. Not much in Memphis but it was good to see the sratues. Menna took us to a good restuarant. Had an enjoyable day inspite of the heat!

Great Tour With a Great Guide - Do This Before the Pyramids in Giza

Hussam was an excellent tour guide, so great that we requested he be our tour guide again the next day when we had a tour with the same company. This tour was really unique because as Hussam pointed out, many people skip these pyramids and focus only the 3 in Giza. These should not be missed, they truly show the background and progression of how they built the first big pyramids and how they learned and innovated before they got to the big 3 in Giza. Hussam clearly knew about the history and I could tell he had a passion for Egyptian history as his stories were told with enthusiasm and excitement. Every question my son and I had he was able to answer. This tour was also very unique because many of the sites were nearly empty. As I said, everyone goes to Giza and skips these, so at the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid there were probably only 10-20 other people there. Not a chance of that in Giza. This made the experience feel even more special as you got the feeling you were exploring these pyramids by yourself. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Cairo and I'd even recommend you do it BEFORE you see the pyramids in Giza.

I had a fantastic time exploring Saqqara Pyramids, Memphis, and Dahshur Pyramids with Ahmed. Fun filled day included hotel pickup and drop off. You won't be disappointed in this trip.

This was the best Egypt tour that we have done. Both driver Waleed and guide Ibrahim were class acts. Total pros that knew everything about the prehistoric era and navigated the roads brilliantly. The tour was safe, delicious, informative and jaw dropping!

Incredible day, our favorite one so far. Our guide was fantastic (spoke great English) and was very knowledgeable. I would recommend Ibrahim Allam to anyone coming to Cairo.
