Day Hike to Kunjapuri to Rishikesh - Kunjapuri is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Kunjadevi, a local deity that commands high respect from local population. The temple is about 25-km drive from Rishikesh city and easily accessible by road as well. You will do 9 kms downhill trek from Kunjapuri temple to Rishikesh. Enroute visiting the local people and villages and end it at wonderful waterfall. From the hill top where the temple is built you get a panoramic view of river Ganges, Rishikesh and Indian Himalayan range with several prominent peaks like Bandarpunch, Swarga Rohini, Gangotri peak and Chaukhamba and many more. The best time to see the magnificent nature views Sun rise and Sun set.

We will pick up you from Rishikesh hotel and 1 hrs drive to Kunjapuri Temple via Narender Nagar. After visiting the temple and see the sunrise. We will start the 9 Kms trek to Rishikesh enroute visiting the local villages and waterfall. From waterfall, our car will pick you and drop at Rishikesh hotel.
Neer Garh Waterfall
We will finish the trek at Neer Gaddu waterfall. Tourist can swim there after finishing the hike.

5.00My daughter and I had a wonderful trip with Alok! He was on time and handled everything from pick up at our hotel to drop off again at the end of the day. His knowledge of the customs and traditions at Kunjapuri Mandir and also of the communities and plants along the way down to Neer waterfall was invaluable. Our love for roadside chai and “Maggie” started with him. He was kind, thoughtful, respectful and very helpful when my knees gave out 2/3rds the way down. A most embarrassing situation for me personally, but he only showed me kindness. I really feel he went above and beyond what could ever be expected and recommend him very highly. When we are in Rishikesh again, I’ll definitely request him (although this time I’ll be much better prepared). Dhanyavad Alok!

5.00This tour was inspiring, enjoyable and restorative - even in the rain ... and partly because of it. Sure, we'd hoped for sunrise and a hike, BUT then we would have missed the truly GORGOUS VIEWS of soft clouds calmly snuggling in with and caressing the colorful mountains – a very meditative and inspiring sight! We appreciate our guide, Sachin, who thought well about us and the weather as we made the joint decision not to hike down in the slippery mud and rain. Could have tried again the next day, but we were off to other adventures after recharging our batteries at Kunjapuri Temple. Our tour was precious and awesome in its own way, and we are grateful for the experience, guide, driver and tour company. We’d choose them again in a heartbeat!

5.00I contacted Sachin from INDIA TREKKING AND TOURS to arrange Trip for my family to Kunjapuri temple to Neer waterfall trek . I found them Via tripadvisor and I have short listed them because most of the reviews seem genuine and generally positive. With help of India trekking tours our tour went very well and got successfully completed. We highly recommend this company for any trip and trek in India.

5.00Great experience! Sunrise at the temple with a view of the Himalayas. Trek of approximately 2.5/3 hours to reach the waterfalls (mainly descent via various paths). Swimming possible (the guide found a small cabin for us to change in complete discretion). The guide is punctual, friendly, ... and helps us on the more complicated trails. It gives us plenty of time to contemplate the sumptuous landscapes. It was wonderful ! I highly recommend this experience.

5.00Excellent sunrise view from top of the Kunjapuri temple. Amazing trek to Neergaddu waterfalls. We had a great guide Sachin and we is very experienced guide with good knowledge about the area.
