The tour starts with the pick-up at your accommodation in Vienna at a designated time. The driver will introduce you the specifics of the tour after which the tour commences with a drive through the Viennese Forest and first stop Melk Abby.

Melk Abbey

After arriving to Melk, introduce yourself to the history of almost one thousand years old Benedictine Abbey. Overlooking the town of Melk, the impressive baroque-style Abbey is a home of the famous library and a final resting place of Saint Coloman, the patron saint of Austria. During the visit, you can also explore the Abbey church and the garden pavilion. After approximately 1 hour visit of Melk, continue your journey through Austrian countryside ,lakes and mountains to your next destination charming town of Hallstatt.

We had a lovely day trip with Michael. He had great recommendations for how to maximize our time in each location and it was great to be able to get a taste of Melk, Salzburg, and Hallstatt. Lots of opportunities for pictures and a seamless day overall. Would definitely recommend!

Romano was a delightful guide/driver. He has so much knowledge about Austria, and could thoroughly answer every question we asked him. We had a wonderful time visiting the three towns and Romano did an awesome job letting us know when and where he would pick up up after each stop where we had ample time to explore the areas.

Darko was an excellent host and driver. He was very friendly, funny, and an all-around lovely person. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. Please note that this is not a guided tour. Darko drove us to the locations of our choice and gave us insider tips and information but then we were on our own which was perfect for us. We wanted to drive through the Alps on the way back to Vienna and Darko was happy to accommodate this. His van was clean and comfortable and he checked with us often to see if we needed a rest stop. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this experience!

It was a wonderful experience. The drive to the location was exceptionally entertaining. Davor, our guide, was literally more like a long lost friend! He was so helpful and gave the best recommendations for food, souvenirs, and pictures. Lovely time!
Perfect Day in the Austrian Alps

The trip into the beautiful Austrian Alps started right on time ina Mercedes van (newer model in great shape and clean.) Our driver and guide, Darko, began by listening intently to what my son and I might like to see and do on this day. He then customized our day and route to deliver the most incredible experience. Darko was informative but didn’t over speak. He was intuitive and anticipated our probable likes and dislikes at each stop. At one point, he helped us select and order a terrific local breakfast that we enjoyed. He never hurried us and would always explain clearly the best spots to try and the ones to maybe bypass, always leaving it ultimately up to us. Darko followed thru on everything he said he’d do, like sending to me information on the vineyard area of Vienna, as I might bring my wife next year for our anniversary. On the trip home, he recommended a great pizza place for us in Vienna and instinctively, (because of his natural service instincts) made the reservation us as well. First class!! We couldn’t have enjoy our tour more. Thanks again, Darko, for making our day one we will always remember!!
