• A really informative tour to a beautiful area

  We had an absolutely fantastic day with Tracy, our incredibly knowledgeable guide, and Renzo, our excellent driver. The tour took us to the beautiful area of Tigre, where we first stopped for some refreshments before boarding a small boat to explore the peaceful canals and waterways. It was a wonderful way to experience this unique part of the region. We also visited a lovely craft market where Tracy pointed out many locally made items, particularly the beautiful leather and wood products the area is known for. Lunch was delicious and perfectly located beside the water, making it a very relaxing stop. Afterwards we visited the stunning art museum, which was just the right length of time to enjoy both the building and the collection without feeling rushed. Our final stop was the botanical gardens in Buenos Aires, which were absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to end the day. Throughout the entire tour, Tracy shared fascinating history and insights about Argentina, which really added to the experience and helped us understand the country much better.   If you are considering taking an excursion with Tracy, stop thinking about it and book it! We had an amazing day exploring the Tigre River delta and other sites in Beunos Aires with Tracy and her driver Renzo. My husband and I took our excursion with Tracy on the debarkation day from a Viking cruise. We had to disembark by 9 am, but our flight home was not until 10 pm. This left us with a full day to spend and the burden of two large suitcases. But Tracy and Renzo took care of everything! We left the suitcases at Tracy’s apartment for the day. Then we headed out to the Tigre delta. A fair amount of time was spent driving through Buenos Aires, and Tracy pointed out highlights and talked about the history of the city. The day was rainy, but Tracy had even thought about bringing umbrellas for us! We started out with a boat ride through the Tigre delta, a very interesting area. After the Tigre Delta boat tour, we visited the Museo de Arte de Tigre. Then Tracy took us to a lovely restaurant on the river for lunch where the four of us had excellent food and a very good time learning more about life in Argentina. After that, Renzo drove us to Tracy’s apartment where we picked up our luggage, and then he drove us to the airport. Given that she is from Alberta, Canada, Tracy’s English is perfect. Renzo is a Buenos Aires native, and his English is excellent. Tracy loves Argentine tango, and this resonated with us as we are dancers too. We had such a good time! Filling in our departure day with this excursion was perfect for us. Of course, the cruise line offered excursions, but I can’t imagine any that would have been as enjoyable as this private excursion with two extremely intelligent, warm, and competent people. In case all you need is a ride to the airport, Renzo can arrange this. But taking in some of the city with both Tracy and Renzo is a wonderful experience.

  We had an excellent day with Tracy. We visited the Tigre Delta, had a wonderful lunch and made several additional stops including to the Japanese gardens. Tracy also recommended an excellent local restaurant for our dinner. We would not hesitate to book with Tracy again.

  We had a wonderful day with Tracy who provided information and history about both Buenos Aires and Argentina. It was fun and interesting doing the boat tour on the Delta. She also made suggestions about other places of interest! We would highly recommend Tracy for any tour.

  Tracy is without a doubt one of the best tour guides we have ever had. She is charming and personable. Not only was she knowledgeable about all we were seeing on the tour, she was a wealth of knowledge about the history of Argentina. We learned so much from her. She is also an accomplished Tango dancer and taught us much about the history and intricacies of the dance. The tour was a nice way to explore an area outside of Buenos Aires, and learn about life along the river tributaries. Tracy also gave us recommendations on restaurants and other things to do during our time in Buenos Aires. We would be delighted to take a tour with her again.

  We booked our 7-hour private tour of Tigre from our hotel in Buenos Aires through Viator and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. A few days before the tour, Tracy introduced herself via WhatsApp and immediately made us feel welcome and encouraged us to share any special interests so the tour could be personalized. She followed up the day before and again the morning of the tour to reconfirm everything, which was very appreciated. Tracy and our driver Renzo arrived right on time and instantly made us feel relaxed and in good hands. As we drove out of the city, Tracy was a wealth of knowledge, asking thoughtful questions to really understand our interests. She tailored her commentary perfectly, striking just the right balance of history, culture, and current-day significance. On the way to Tigre we learned about Argentine political history right up through today’s current events. She presents everything in a respectful and thoughtful way that encourages easy conversation—informative, never judgmental. How refreshing. In Tigre we took a boat tour through the canals and small rivers, which showed how this unique area is used today for an alternate lifestyle focused on relaxation and recreation. It was such a contrast to the big city energy and hustle of Buenos Aires. After the boat tour we enjoyed a relaxing stroll through the markets, which gave us time to pick up a thoughtful souvenir. We then had a beautiful lunch right on the river at a restaurant that allowed us to slow down, relax, and connect on an even deeper level. From there we visited a wonderful art museum, where Tracy surprised us yet again with stories about the artists and exhibits that were personal, relatable, and engaging. It truly felt like there wasn’t a subject or topic she couldn’t give us insight into. One of the huge benefits of a private tour is being able to connect on a more personal level, and Tracy truly shines here. She has a fascinating background and shares a very unique personal connection to Argentina. I’ll give just one hint: ask her about Tango — you will be delighted. And if you are considering a Tango Tour - You must have Tracy take you. This was an exceptional day and one we will always remember. Highly recommended.

  

• Fun Day out of the city

  This was a fun day trip out of the city. Tracee was our guide, and she was very knowledgeable about the town, and the history and interesting facts about the delta area. If you have kids, there is a lot to do in terms of water slides, etc. For adults, there is a HUGE outdoor market with a little bit of everything offered.

  Tracy was prompt, professional, and so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her and seeing Tigre. Do not hesitate to take this tour. It was the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires.

  We wanted a tour to fill in the day between disembarking a cruise ship and an 11pm flight home and this was a perfect choice for us. Tracy and driver Renzo were a delight! They accomodated our luggage and took us around Tigre and various BA sites. The boat tour of the delta was pleasant and relaxing. The lunch restaurant was excellent. We learned a lot and had a great time!
