Get ready in order to explore: Etchmiadzin Cathedral - the religious center for all the Armenian. Armenia was the first country in the world to adopt Christianity as a state religion in 301. The cathedral was listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2000.

Saint Hripsime Church

Hripsime Church, listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, was built by the order of the Catholicos Komitas in 618. The legend of Hripsime dates from the early days of Christianity. Hripsimeh fled to Armenia to escape persecution by the Roman Emperor Diocletian. A beautiful but totally devoted follower of Christ, Hripsime refused to marry the pagan Armenian King Trdat III and chose the death of a martyr. A small chapel was erected over the spot where she was murdered. In the 7th century a wondrous church — a masterpiece of Armenian architecture — was built in its place by order of Catholicos Komitas.

Worked perfectly! Had a dream weather and very nice motorist. Car was very clean and comfortable. Drinking water included, plenty of time available!

The tour was excellent! Mari (guide) and Artyom were amazing during all the time! Precise information and even a surprise gift (local pie) were great! Worth the tour!

Thank you for two wonderful days in which our very competent, friendly and funny guide Nazeli showed us several destinations such as Garni or Noravank. The drive to the destinations was in a cozy van, we got a lot of information on site, could observe wonderful places and especially fascinating nature and were also deliciously tasted. I can not only recommend Explora Armenia to everyone, I will certainly take a trip again on my next visit, thank you for that!

Great experience and wonderful day trip to Tsagkhadzor, Lake Sevan and Dilijan. We had a great time with this tour company. They are knowledge, professional, polite and provide a grate comfort for the tour. The car was very nice, comfortable and clean. The driver was very friendly.
