Our full-day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech starts at 8:00 am to the city of Essaouira. It is an easy 3h30 drive (176 km) through some stunning landscapes, along the way you can see dromedaries, sheep, and goats grazing in the countryside. The vegetation then changes to ARGAN trees that only grow in the wild and provide berries for local goats. If you wish, you can stop for ARGAN oil tasting in a small cooperative run by local women, where you can attend the oil extraction process. We can also stop on the way to see the famous Argan tree where goats clamber up the low branches and feed. Sometimes as many as 20 goats are sitting up in one tree. It is a fascinating sight and an absolute must when it comes to getting a photo opportunity.

5.00What a great trip! Our driver Ibrahim picked us up right in front of our accommodation in a timely manner, and got us to Essaouira smoothly and safely. He made sure we were comfortable the whole journey, stopping along the way when needed, and we really felt like we were able to accomplish all that we wanted to do in the city with Ibrahim’s help. 5.00I visited Marrakesh with my family these holidays and the trip to Essaouira with Hafid and Barbaro travel was a highlight. Not only the city was amazing but it was a great experience. He's a great guide, patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. Also, his cars are brand new and very comfortable. Recommended for families or travellers looking for a comfortable experience where they get to choose their times and have a personalized experience.

5.00Very nice experience, thank you Hafid I have already visited Essaouira several times, but all the information I had with Hafid I have never heard, let's start with the vineyards of the village Oudaya and Ounagha, the history of the Peugeot 504 in Sidi Mokhtar, the visit to the ramparts and Medina d Essaouira... in short it was impeccable.
