Ksar Hallouf is a charming ksar perched on a rocky peak, offering a breathtaking view of the village below, crossed by a wadi and surrounded by an oasis of palm trees. This peaceful place, preserved from the tourist influx, invites contemplation and the discovery of an authentic heritage.
Ksar Ghilane
Ksar Ghilane, the southernmost of Tunisia's oases, is a gateway to the Tunisian Sahara Desert and a popular destination for quad and camel rides. This oasis is fed by a hot spring, which comes from a failed oil drilling in 1953. Instead of finding oil, the drillers discovered a confined water table about 700 meters deep. The water gushes to the surface at a temperature of about 32°C and has sulfurous properties. It is suitable for swimming and is renowned for its thermal properties. Ksar Ghilane is home to about fifty nomadic families who live from date palm cultivation and goat and sheep breeding. It is a place where you can discover the traditional way of life of Saharan nomads. You will have the opportunity to take a camel ride (15€/h) or a quad bike ride (30€/h) to the Roman fort of Tisavar, adding a touch of adventure to your experience.

5.00Great family day from Djerba with guide Mahmoud and our driver Abdel. The organization was perfect from start to finish. The excursion to Ksar Ghilane was really beautiful, between quad biking in the dunes and camel ride. Many thanks to Mahmoud for all his detailed and cultural explanations throughout the day, it was very rewarding. Abdel also ensured a top-notch ride. A complete experience, very well supervised and exotic. I recommend without hesitation!

4.00We spent a day in the dunes of the exceptional sahara. Our guide Mamoutt and our driver Ali were outstanding, a big thank you to them and all their explanations about this beautiful region. We left with our 4 year old son he loved the camel ride and being able to swim in the oasis. You can choose this company with your eyes closed they are pro and top. Thank you again for this great experience.

5.00We had the chance to live today an absolutely exceptional private guided tour through several essentials of Tunisia: Tataouine, Ksar Ouled Sultane, Chenini, Ksar Hadada...etc. Our guide was simply outstanding. Passionate about his country’s history and culture, he made each place alive thanks to his rich, captivating and always accessible explanations. We have learned a great deal, far beyond what we could have imagined. What really made the difference was his ability to get us off the beaten track. In addition to the emblematic sites, it made us discover more confidential, authentic places, away from the tourist crowds, which made the experience even more unique and immersive.
