This trip will take you to the area of Almopia where the thermal springs of Pozar (under the fire in Slavic language) are located at the foothills of Mountain Voras. There the facilities of Pozar baths are located, with its 48 individual baths, 6 indoor pools and the outdoor big pool. It's a perfect place to relax and wash away the anxiety of urban life. Visit also the beautiful waterfalls in Edessa, stroll around its natural park and have lunch by waterfalls. Return to Thessaloniki in the afternoon.

Pozar Thermal Baths
Imagine yourself in a pool amidst steep rocks, natural waterfalls and wild vegetation. Feel the soothing warmth of the water (37⁰C) taking the strain off your body, and let your eyes wander around the verdant gorge where Agios Nikolaos (Saint Nicholas) stream flows, (aka Thermopotamos meaning 'hot river' in Greek). Heighten your senses in this pristine nature where green is King and even the branches of the trees (mainly planes and willows) are all covered in luxuriant ivy. Relish the stimulating sensation of the 37 degrees crystal clear waters in the outdoor pool that is surrounded by the wild!

In the city of Edessa we are visit its unique waterfalls and stroll around its beautiful natural park. Also, optional stop for lunch by the waterfalls.

Amazing day with Antonis!

5.00We did this excursion on our cruise stop in Thessaloniki. We had the absolute best day. Antonis was our tour guide, he was absolutely amazing! He was funny and so kind. The thermal bath was so peaceful and warm. The restaurant at the top of the stairs was delicious. Great food and great service. The second stop at the waterfall was so beautiful. Our ride from the port was about an hour and 40 minutes, it was so scenic. The drive went by so quickly with amazing Antonis. Definitely would recommend this tour and Antonis!

5.00Our driver Bill was excellent. He drove safely and we never felt any anxiety while on the road. He took us to the thermal springs which were very nice. But the highlight was Edessa Falls. They are so beautiful. Bill stayed with us and took pictures for us so we could both be in them. He then took us to an amazing restaurant with food to die for. I recommend this excursion if you’re interested in really seeing the beautiful countryside. And if you get Bill as your driver then you’ll be super lucky.

5.00We went on this trip yesterday our driver Nickos was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our day perfect and he didn’t rush us at all.The waterfall and natural spring pools was worth the long drive to get there and he took us to a lovely traditional place to eat and the food was so lovely ..Would highly recommend this trip

5.00This was an awesome tour our driver Dimitrios was excellent very kind and an amazing driver. The only thing I would recommend would be to let us know that we needed to make reservations at the thermal baths.

5.00Very interesting tour with our driver John from igohellas. We relaxed at pozar thermal baths for a couple of hours. Pozar is a nice place where you can enjoy hiking on the woods. We did it for a while. The next time we will stay in Pozar at least 2 days! It's an ideal place for nature lovers like me and my girlfriend. Afterwords, Mr John guided us in Edessa city, a small greek city with wonderful waterfalls! I recommend igohellas from Saloniki!
