  An incredible experience in an almost tourist-free section of the wall, unique to other sections in it's positioning next to a lake - and particularly beautiful in the Spring with the surrounding area covered in blossoms. Vivie couldn't have been nicer, taking great care of us and accommodating any requests we had in relation to the picnic or beyond. Being directly collected from, and dropped off at, our accommodation in Beijing also meant the day was completely stress-free. Couldn't recommend Vivie/this trip more for a special occasion.

  An incredible experience, Viví really makes you love the culture and all her work is a delight, we were amazed by her attention, her dedication and everything she included in this magnificent activity, my girlfriend is heartily grateful to Viví for her effort and we really hope to see her again in a few years for a longer visit, personally I recommend her 100% for personalized attention, she has a lot of knowledge and has an aura that makes you want to be her friend, thank you very much for everything Vivi, blessings for you and your work

  This tour was amazing!! The Great Wall was beautiful and Vivie had a picnic for us right on the wall with local delicacies. Our kids were so surprised and shared this being their favorite part of our whole China trip. I highly recommend Vivie. She’s knowledgeable, caring, fun, and made our trip special

  We went last year to the Great Wall with Lotus, one of Vivie's guides and that day was the highlight of our trip to China. Lotus came to pick us up in Beijing at the hotel and we went to a less crowded part of the wall, which we enjoyed a lot. The car was new, comfortable and the driver was great. They provided water for us. Lotus is a great professional, her English is fluent and we loved how she managed to arrange perfectly every single detail of the day trip. She is extremely knowledgeable and she mixes history and daily life stories. She taught me a few words in Chines and as a result I fell in love with this language and now I'm taking lessons to learn it! We can't wait to be back to China and we will contact Vivie again for sure.

  This was an utterly stress free to visit the Great Wall. Communications with Vivie were perfect, we were collected and taken to the Great Wall, it was a fabulous stretch of the wall with no crowds. Vivie's commentaries were interesting and really added colour to our experience. We had lunch at a local village which was great to see a place we might not have found. Then onto the Ming Tombs which was a must visit. Vivie was very happy to see more if we had the time and gave tremendous value for money. Vivie was so lovely that we now consider her a friend and look forward to take up her tours again when we visit. Do not hesitate to book!

  We are so so so glad to have found Vivie. She is so responsive and helpful and friendly right from the first contact. She picked us up on time in her comfortable car at our hotel and we started our journey to Huanghuacheng. Along the way, she offered us insights on history of the Great Wall and of China in general. The journey was very smooth and very pleasant. Huanghuacheng is an amazing section of the Great Wall. So wild and so original! It was quite a difficult hike but so worth it. Vivie guided us very patiently and very professionally. It was like we were on a journey with a friend! This trip is also a special one for us, because it was so beautiful that my boyfriend was moved to propose to me on the Great Wall. Vivie was our witness for this special moment. She prepared us a delicious picnic at a scenic spot and also surprised me with a bouquet of flowers! I would recommend Vivie with all my heart. She’s a warm-hearted, sincere and sweet person. Vivie, see you again next time!!!

  We organised a tour through Vivie after a friend had recommended her. Whilst Vivie herself could not attend, Lotus, was a phenomenal replacement. She had fantastic English and gave us a comprehensive insight into the history of the Great Wall and Chinese culture. Whilst I live in China, my family were visiting for the first time. This tour meant their first time in Bejiing was relaxing, exciting and stress free. We could therefore really focus on quality time with each other and enjoying ourselves. The picnic Vivie organised was the perfect final touch and really added that something special to our day.

  Vivie was a superb guide & driver. My sister & I couldn’t of asked for anyone better. her English was excellent & she had all the local knowledge. she helped us bargain gave us all the history of these rich timely places which was fascinating she was extremely flexible & accommodated our every desire. the restaurants she took us to were some of the best & unique food. her company was easy & fun. I would not recommend going to Beijing without a guide & vivie is top shelf, very highly recommend

  My wife and I went with another couple and were so happy we used Vivie to show us Beijing and the Great Wall. She customized the tours for what we wanted to do, is well informed, and a pleasure to be with. We spent a day around Beijing seeing the key sites, another day hiking a less travelled part of the Great Wall, and a morning biking thru the Hutongs. She is very responsible and organized. I highly recommend you use Vivie.

  The tour to hike along the non restored part of the Great Wall was one of the highlights of our trip! Vivie was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a ton of info that we would not have been able to find on our own. She even set us up an amazing picnic on the wall for lunch, complete with pastries and beer! I don’t know too many people who can say they had a picnic on the great wall of China. Be advised, this is a challenging hike with many steep sections. Make sure to bring your hiking shoes and wits!
