This tour is offered as a private experience. If you are an avid lover of ancient history, then Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary is a must-see! Located in the upper area of the Thu Bon River, near Da Nang City, and about 20 km west of Tra Kieu Citadel, My Son is nestled in a narrow valley. It is a cluster of Hindu temples located in Duy Phú commune, Duy Xuyên district. This site was once a place of worship where the Cham-Pa people (known today as Cham people) made sacrifices to the gods. Built between the 4th and 13th centuries A.D., this famous architectural complex was dedicated to the god Shiva. Mỹ Sơn was recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 1999.
On this tour, you will avoid the crowds and heat at the Mỹ Sơn temples, giving you the best opportunity to take beautiful photos with fewer people around.

My Son Sanctuary
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at the time you requested during booking. It takes about 1 hour to travel from Hội An to My Son temple and about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Da Nang hotel to My Son. You will have approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk around the temples, which were built between the 7th and 13th centuries. During the tour, you'll learn a lot about the Champa Kingdom and Cham culture, which thrived from the 2nd to the 19th century, as well as the techniques the Cham people used to build these temples. After the tour, we will return to your hotel.
My Son Sanctuary
Take a walk around the site for about 1.5 to 2 hours, visiting the ancient temples built between the 7th and 13th centuries. You will have the opportunity to learn extensively about the Champa Kingdom and Cham culture, which thrived from the 2nd to the 19th century, as well as the techniques the Cham people used to construct these temples.

5.00The best day tour was with our guide, Tai, who took us around the My Son temples and told us the story of My Son and the Cham Pa culture. He was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. After this tour, we booked three more tours with Tai: Marble Mountain, Golden Hands, and a cycling tour. Highly recommend him!

5.00A really interesting site and insight into the migration of Hinduism across Asia. Tai was a great guide and explained the history of the site very well. Would definitely recommend and early visit as to miss the crowds.

5.00Tai was a great tour guide for us at My Son Sanctuary and I learned so much about this region and the Cham people. We went in the afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all but a little muddy from the rain earlier. We stayed in Danang and he also arranged transportation for us to My Son so it was very convenient. All in all, I would recommend him and his tour!

5.00Very nice tour, just what we wanted. Pick up at the hotel, transportation with a local directly to My Son without stopping for breakfast or any kind of shop. Walking tour around the world heritage site with a very kind and knowledgeable guide. Tai quickly responded to all our messages and answered all our questions. Although it was the rainy season in central Vietnam and it poured down, it was absolutely worth visiting this place. As recommended by Tai, you should go as early as possible to avoid the crowds. He always tried to lead us to a quiet corner to explain what we see. Overall this was a great experience and we highly recommend this tour.

5.00An absolute must do tour when visiting Vietnam 🇻🇳 Tai is an absolute well of information about the MySon, the local area, history of his country and an all round nice bloke. He was happy to answer questions on a range of topics and provided local tips. The My My is set amongst beautiful mountains and has a fascinating history set over thousands of years. We were the first to arrive, which meant photos of the temples without other tourists everywhere. Also arriving early we escaped the heat. Our driver was very polite and drove safety. The fantastic tour in Vietnam.
