If you are an avid hiker and cannot imagine your vacation without exploring some altitudes, Samobor hills will definitely not disappoint you. Just 1-hour drive from Zagreb as the starting point for this moderate 5-hour hike. The tour is guided by a certified tour guide who will assist you at any moment. Samobor hills and it's highest peak will take your breath away. After soaking in the natural beauty, a more urban experience will happen by visiting Old Town Samobor, a castle ruin situated above the modern day town. The experience can be customized with an optional lunch at the traditional Croatian restaurant or by wine, cheese and cured cold cuts tasting hosted by one of the best Croatian winemakers.

In the morning hours, you will be picked up at your accommdation in Zagreb by your driver-guide and driven to Samobor hills (if the pick up location is not accessible, pick up will be arranged at the closest accessible location).

5.00What a great way to spend our 40th wedding anniversary. This hike was exceptionally good. It was steep in some places, but an easy walk. We loved our guide Karlo from Bespoke Croatia. He was informative and fun. Our lunch at the top of the mountain was fantastic. We have several eating restrictions and the food he provided was delicious and exactly what we needed. I especially liked the red pepper dip/sauce. We would recommend this hike to anyone visiting Zagreb. Alen and Joan

5.00The Samobor tour includes mountain hiking, visit of an the historic town of Samobor and old fortress ruins. This is a great combination for a full day of experiences not far from Zagreb. Karlo Kapusta os a great guide, very friendly and a good communicator. He makes it a fun experience!

5.00I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Karlo for this trip. The hike route was beautiful, with many breathtaking views. He brought traditional snacks for me to try when we rested, and he even brought me a gift for my birthday. The trip was beautiful, and the guide was very friendly and helped make it a great trip. I would highly recommend

5.00Karlo is an excellent guide, who provides first class service. The hike was exhilarating and well worth the effort. The scenery is remarkable, both during the climb and from the summit. Lunch was delicious.

5.00This is a wonderful day trip! I hiked through a beautiful forest to reach a great view and snacks! The guide, Karlo, made the day memorable with homemade snacks like sausage, spreads, cheeses. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of his country, and he goes out of his way to make the experience enjoyable. I have never done a private tour before, but I absolutely recommend it and would use this company again!

5.00Hiking was on our third day agenda with Karlo and agency. It was just a short ride from Zagreb and you are in this lovely city Samobor and beautifull nature and hills. Partner and I hike a lot but never before had a guide, and with Karlo as experienced hiker we felt safe and well organized. Highlight of the trip- wine tasting of course :) Amazing time, Croatia's nature is so beautifull!

5.00Wow, what a great experience with Karlo! Our hike was wonderfully challenging, with majestic views at the top. The castle ruins were beautiful in the late afternoon sun (timed just so by Karlo), the lunch spot he chose was authentic and delicious, and the by-appointment wine tasting, hosted by the vintner himself, was unforgettable. The views from their overlook were just astounding. Karlo curated a truly unique and memorable experience. This is the only way to travel. Highly recommend, and sorry for anyone who misses the chance to experience this tour!

5.00We had the most wonderful day out on this tour with Karlo, driving through majestic Croatian countryside to these beautiful places. Everything was well organised and Karlo kept on pointing out interesting facts and stories to keep us well amused. The scenery was just breathtaking with not that many people about. We had a wild boar sausage lunch at the resting point in the hills provided by Karlo ( by his Dad in fact....Home made). The walking was not too strenuous but we knew we had done some good exercise for sure. To top it all, we went for a fantastic traditional Croatian meal in a small village on the way back, with a couple of glasses of Croatian wine. Lovely!! We would totally recommend Karlo and the team at bespoke-croatia and we will definitely be back. Oh, I should have said at the start that we booked this after a great walking tour with Karlo around Zagreb and we enjoyed it so much, we booked this one. We would thoroughly recommend both. 5.00Karlo is a wonderful guide . He knows all the places to stop and explore. Tell him what you like to do and he will customize an adventure for you. Samobor Hills is a magical forest to hike through -with majestic , moss covered beech trees and incredible views from a lookout tower. Karlo also treated me to a tasty treat that he baked . It's like a friend sharing a secrete place. Highly recommend !
