Ephesus is an exceptional testimony to the cultural traditions of the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial and early Christian periods. Ephesus is an important site for Christianity; being one of the seven Churches of Revelation. Apostle Paul probably spent two and half years in Ephesus during his third missionary journey. It will take about 2 hours to discover Ephesus Ancient City by walking on the marble streets, accompanied by our English speaking tour guide. The site has two entrances; as it is slightly downhill, it is a better idea to start from the upper gate. In our tour, we will be seeing Odeon, State Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius Monument, Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, Hadrian Temple, Latriens and Private House (so called Brothel, 'Terrace Houses') Celsus Library, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theater, and Arcadine (Harbour Road).
Ephesus Terrace Houses
Terrace Houses in Ephesus on the Curetes street belonged to prominent people of the city. They are dated back to 1C AD and some were inhabited up to 7C AD. They were luxirious private houses with mosaic floors, fountains and central heating.

5.00Our private group started at the cruise terminal, 9:00 to 4:00, all the important spots went, pick up the car, didn't get very tired, packed lunch in between, to give special credit to the guide. Gul, friendly and patient, big push.

5.00Excellent excursion with an excellent guide Volkan BUGDAYEKEN . Ephesus is a visit not to be missed. You can request a French guide . They brought us to see the making of carpets and offered dinner and tea. There were 4 of us with our guide and driver. I recommend this excursion.

5.00Guray was an excellent guide. We had a large air conditioned van for the five of us, and Guray went at our pace - it was very hot for our young daughters and he was flexible to move things along to suit our needs. Ephesus is incredible and Guray gave us a good overview of the history. The immersive museum at Ephesus is a must-do, kids loved it. Highly recommend.
