Join AJ on this family-friendly artistic journey at the National Gallery of Modern Art, where you will discover the fascinating world of Italian modern art, and your kids will create their own artworks inside the museum!
You and your family will explore the gallery with licensed tour guide AJ. You'll stop by some of the most iconic pieces of Italian modern art and engage in fun, educational conversations about the ideas and movements behind the artworks.
At each stop,your kids will participate in hands-on activities inspired by the artworks you’ve explored. AJ will provide them with art supplies, inviting them to create their own artworks based on special tasks influenced by the piece you’ve just explored. Parents are also welcome to join in the activities and immerse themselves in the flow of creativity!
You’ll bring back home fascinating insights about Italian art, a collection of artworks that your kids have created, and unforgettable memories you’ll treasure forever!

5.00Amazing tour guide! She led the most fantastic tour for me and my kid and his friends. She masterfully wove together art and history in a way that was so cool and easy to understand. It was the perfect mix of learning and having a great time. Her energy is infectious, and she made sure our entire group was engaged and laughing. Don't think twice—book a tour with her!

5.00This is the tour we’re looking for with kids. In the city of Rome, there’s not many chances like this that the family can really try out the painting skills while visiting the gallery, which is fantastic. AJ is such a kids-friendly, knowledgeable person that delivers those skills in an easy way. We enjoyed our moment very much. Definitely worth to try with kids.

5.00An absolute must must must when you are in Rome with kids. This was so fabulous. Fun and a great learning experience. My kids had a fabulous time. I was in Rome in early May 2025 with my family. I booked this tour with AJ and had my Mother-in-law and my two boys (age 5 and 9) in tow. So. Much. Fun. I wanted something fun and educational and AJ delivered. The kids actually had a blast and as anyone with small kids knows, it is not easy to keep them entertained. My 9 year old actually remembers some of the stuff he learned and said that spending the day with AJ learning about art and creating art was one of the most memorable of our trip. My 5 year old loved it to. I can’t say enough to AJ to thank her for the great time. A memorable experience no one will forget. Thank you AJ 😊

5.00A fantastic experience and one to definitely book for your trip to Rome. We both learnt a lot from AJ, her knowledge is invaluable and her approach gets you to appreciate art from a different perspective. She was great to talk to and engaged my very fidgety and energetic son. Would highly recommend!
