This fully private experience allows you to dive at your own pace. With our highly trained and certified instructors, we keep the experience personalized while maintaining a high level of service.
Because there is no strict time limit, the program can be adjusted for more nervous participants or those who are feeling more adventurous.
Dive sites are selected based on the best ocean conditions of the day. Guests with their own transportation can coordinate the dive site with their instructor. For guests using our pickup service, the instructor will select the most suitable location.
You’ll have the experience of a lifetime, while we keep it safe!

Discover the underwater world of Aruba with this beginner friendly, private scuba diving experience. The Scuba Discovery program is perfect for first time divers and participants who are not certified. No previous diving experience is required and your instructor will guide you step by step. Your experience begins with a safety briefing on land, which takes about 20 minutes. We explain the dive plan, how the equipment works, and important safety guidelines. After the briefing it is time to enter shallow water to practice and get comfortable with the equipment. You will complete a few simple exercises before the dive. Once everyone is comfortable, we head out for the real dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters). During the dive you may see coral reef, tropical fish, and depending on the dive site possibly turtles or a shipwreck. Dive sites are selected based on the best ocean conditions of the day. Guests with their own transportation can coordinate the dive site with their instructor. For guests using our pickup service, the instructor will select the most suitable location.

5.00This was so much fun. Underdog was very communicative before the trip and responded quickly to the few questions we had. Pauline picked us up at the hotel and took us to the dive spot. It was gorgeous. She explained everything and instructed us on the equipment and what to expect. Then we got started. It was so awesome! One of my favorite excursions on a vacation yet.

5.00AWESOME experience. Group of 3, pickup was right on time, location of the dive was fantastic. Instructor was thorough, friendly, and alleviated any fears of our first dive. Dive was incredible - around the boat & the reef. Definitely repeat next time in Aruba!

5.00For experienced divers to first timers diving. Pauline was very knowledgeable of the sea life. She explained what to expect on the dive. We saw tons of colorful fish around the reef. We got a close up video and photo of a sea turtle and ship wreak. It was an incredible experience. I would recommend Underdog divers for the rental equipment, knowledge of Aruba's sea life, ship wreck and mainly safety. Plus Pauline made a video with music of our discovery dive, which was awesome. I am so thank full that we chose Underdog divers for our dive experience in Aruba.

5.00A+ Instructor had a medical situation prior to our scheduled arrival. Paulina and her team were able to find another one so we could still dive. Alan and Albert were fantastic. Alan made everyone in the group feel safe, comfortable, and confident. We were here for a day on a cruise. Alan picked us up at the cruise terminal. 10-20 minute ride to where we dove. We completed our padi confinement skills and first open dive with him. Will 100% be booking again and requesting Alan. Thanks for being so accommodating.

5.00My husband and I are PADI certified and experienced, but our friends are not. They have dove one other time. Alan did a great job tailoring to the comfort level of all of us! Equipment all worked well and was in good shape.

5.00What an amazing experience!!! My husband and I have always wanted to go scuba diving and this tour made us want to get certified in the future! I have sensitive ears and our instructors were happy to take the descent slower to help me adjust! Also you can’t beat a refreshing swim in the clear blue Aruban waters while observing the beautiful sea life!!
