This fully private experience allows you to dive at your own pace. With our highly trained and certified instructors, we keep the experience personalized while maintaining a high level of service.
Because there is no strict time limit, the program can be adjusted for more nervous participants or those who are feeling more adventurous.
Dive sites are selected based on the best ocean conditions of the day. Guests with their own transportation can coordinate the dive site with their instructor. For guests using our pickup service, the instructor will select the most suitable location.
You’ll have the experience of a lifetime, while we keep it safe!

Discover the underwater world of Aruba with this beginner friendly, private scuba diving experience. The Scuba Discovery program is perfect for first time divers and participants who are not certified. No previous diving experience is required and your instructor will guide you step by step. Your experience begins with a safety briefing on land, which takes about 20 minutes. We explain the dive plan, how the equipment works, and important safety guidelines. After the briefing it is time to enter shallow water to practice and get comfortable with the equipment. You will complete a few simple exercises before the dive. Once everyone is comfortable, we head out for the real dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters). During the dive you may see coral reef, tropical fish, and depending on the dive site possibly turtles or a shipwreck. Dive sites are selected based on the best ocean conditions of the day. Guests with their own transportation can coordinate the dive site with their instructor. For guests using our pickup service, the instructor will select the most suitable location.

5.00This was an excellent tour and awesone first time dive experience. Alan our instructor was very thourough and always made sure we were comfortable and safe throughout the dive. Definelty reccomend anyone that wants to try diving before going for certification.

5.00We had the BEST possible experience with (Allen?) i forgot his name tbh but he was awesome! The guy with blonde hair and tattoos. The whole vibe was relaxed and fun while feeling like you’re in safe hands. His instructions and explanations of everything was incredibly detailed and extremely clear which was appreciated as a first timer. In the water was an amazing experience! We saw a ship wreck along with all sorts of wildlife; fish, eel, lobster, hermit crab, coral.. it was one of the highlights of our trip and i cant recommend this place enough!

5.00I don't think I could have had a better instructor for my first dive. Alan is both patient and peaceful, and has a beautiful way of projecting that even (actually I should say especially) underwater. He's so comfortable beneath the surface I think he might be part fish himself! For anyone who has yet to dive, you realize very quickly that the person guiding you plays a huge role in how your experience unfolds. I'm extremely grateful for Alan and Underdog Divers creating a beautiful first experience for me. It is one that in turn will create the desire to go back many more times. Thank you so much!

5.00Overall wonderful experience! Highly recommend using Google for WhatsApp number the one through viator gave me trouble to contact but super easy after that. Alan was our instructor and he was amazing. As a first time diver he was attentive, hands on, and made this the highlight of our trip!

5.00We were so nervous to scuba dive for the first time and Alan was so patient and made us feel so comfortable. He never pushed us beyond our comfort zone and we were able to experience the underwater world in a way we have never had before while capturing amazing footage.

5.00Private lesson: one on one experience, very relaxing, no pressure learning. 5 min shallow water skills then 10meters dive around sunken boat and nearby coral reef. Pauline is the best! Will do it with a spouse next time since no prior training required.
