Discover the highlights in the area on your private catamaran! We start with snorkeling at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. Hol Chan has the largest variety of species to be seen in the area and is often compared to an aquarium, while at Shark Ray Alley you get to experience a close encounter with nurse-sharks and stingrays. Watch from the boat or swim with them!
We then serve our famous Belizean buffet lunch on-board. Traditional dishes like stewed chicken and rice and beans with our Captain’s secret recipe BBQ fish! After lunch, we stop at the neighbor island Caye Caulker for approx. 2 hours of free time to explore the island, followed by a relaxed sunset cruise back to San Pedro, with fresh ceviche being served. You can also choose to return earlier to the boat for one more stop on our way back. Choose between more snorkeling or a stop at a shallow sandbar area. Open bar with local rum, vodka, gin, soft drinks and juices is included. Try the specials, rum punch and "panty rippers"!

Pick up is not included. We depart from the Palapa Bar dock, and we meet there 15 minutes before departure. Then the ride to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve takes 45 minutes, while you lay down on comfortable cushions enjoying the ocean, the views and the sunshine, accompanied by drinks and music.
Hol Chan Marine Reserve
Hol Chan is Mayan for "little channel" and is a natural break in the reef, which has always been a very productive fishing area with abundant marine life. It is open to the sea beyond the reef, so allows marine creatures to travel from the outside of the reef to the inside and vice versa. It became the first marine reserve in the entire country of Belize back in 1987 and this have led to the species to re-generate and the corals of growing unharmed. This snorkeling area has the greatest variety of marine life and coral, compared to being an "underwater zoo" - you have the chance to see all kinds of corals, fishes and even sea turtles! Over 160 species of fish and forty types of coral have been recorded in the area.

5.00We had the absolute pleasure of going on two private catamaran tours with Catamaran Belize, just two days apart, and both experiences were exceptional. Captain Roan and Anthony were truly outstanding. Their knowledge of the area, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made every moment enjoyable and relaxed. We were a group of ten adults, and they went above and beyond to tailor each tour to our group, ensuring everyone felt comfortable, welcomed, and well cared for. Nothing felt rushed or scripted—it was clear they genuinely love what they do and take pride in creating meaningful experiences for their guests. We are not people who typically return to the same destination twice, but Captain Roan and Anthony alone made us want to come back to Belize. That says everything. If you are considering a catamaran tour, this is the one to book—unmatched service, professionalism, and heart. Highly recommend.

5.00We had a group of 10 book a private tour. From answering a million questions to ensure we had the perfect itinerary to making us laugh on the tour we had the best time. The staff onboard were tons of fun, patient when our kids did not want to snorkel, always aware of our needs and helpful. We got to see so many fish and sea turtles! Charlie was very knowledgeable about the marine life helping to point out all the different species while snorkeling. Ana was always there to grab you a drink or help with the kids. Captain was our hero and watched the kids while the adults went snorkeling. Drinks were plenty, food was delicious and everyone in our group agreed it was the best day of our entire trip!

5.00Amazing private tour! Great food, drinks & world class snorkeling. Swimming with the nurse sharks was a treat. All 8 guests were blown away. We loved Anna & Claudio who were professional, knowledgable, friendly and very charismatic. Highly recommended.

5.00This boat trip in Belize was EVERYTHING! 🌊🐠 We had so much fun, the crew kept the vibes up the whole time. We even saw sharks (yes, real sharks!) swimming around. Some of my friends went snorkeling and had the best time—me on the other hand? Nope 😂 I was too scared I’d fall in, so I picked my little “safe spot” on the boat and enjoyed the view from there lol. Still, it was such an amazing experience and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. If you’re in Belize, you definitely have to try it!

5.00Charlie and Anna are incredible tour guides, cooks, comedians, sailors, and all around great people to spend the day with. They went out of their way to give us a fun experience and I’m so glad we picked their charter for our birthday! We’ll definitely ride with them again when we’re back.

5.00Pablo and Charlie were amazing tour guides and captain of the boat. I love the drinks and food was soo delicious and fresh. They catered to all our needs. The tour was informative and also Pablo took his time and didn’t rush us out the water which me and my family loved ! And the company is so amazing fast response and trustworthy. Everything was seamless. I would definitely come back and book with them again !

5.00A Great Day with Catamaran Belize! The whole experience was fantastic! We have been coming to the island for over 20 years and this was one of our best Tours! The crew made sure everyone on board had a great time, especially the kids! Charlie, Ana, and Pablo were first class! They made sure we felt at home and like we were locals! Hard workers and great personalities! We will make sure we book again in the future with Catamaran Belize!!!! We will be back in January! Thank you for making a great family memory for the 12 of us! 5.00Our group of nine spent the day with Charlie, Ana and crew, snorkeling, swimming, visiting Caye Caulker, feeding tarpon, eating, drinking and most of all laughing. Not long into the trip, it felt like we were just out on a boat with old friends. This day was the highlight of our trip. Do not hesitate to book, these people are special. We hope to return some day and explore with them again. Wicked!!!!
