Temples of Baalbek
Explore three roman temples that are almost the well-preserved Roman temples in the world, dedicated to “Bacchus” the god of wine and leisure beside the temple of” Jupiter” the king of gods and “Venus” the goddess of love.
In a nearby quarry a huge stone was found named "Hebla stone" which means pregnant in Arabic. It's named according to an old legend that women used to touch the stone to get pregnant.

5.00I spent one of the most beautiful days of my trip to Lebanon with Lebanon Tours and Travels, and the driver Fadi truly brought good fortune to the experience. From the very first moment, I felt at ease with his warm and respectful attitude — a genuinely kind and authentic Lebanese man who made the journey feel like I was traveling with a close friend. Throughout the drive from Beirut to Anjar and Baalbek, not a single moment passed without Fadi sharing an insightful story or background about the villages and landmarks along the way. In Anjar Castle especially, he stopped and explained its Umayyad history in a simple, engaging way that made me feel like I was living the experience, not just visiting a site. The car — a Toyota Corolla — was very clean, extremely comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning, which made a huge difference on a long day. Fadi was punctual and professional, sticking to the schedule but with a relaxed, thoughtful approach that made the journey feel easy and enjoyable. The itinerary included Baalbek, Anjar, and the Stone of the Pregnant Woman, and we ended the day with delicious Ba’albek-style sfiha and refreshing laban. It truly felt like more than just a tour — it was a chance to experience a deeper, more soulful side of Lebanon. I honestly have no complaints. If you're planning a trip within Lebanon, I wholeheartedly recommend Fadi. His service is outstanding, his manners are exceptional, and he makes you fall in love with the country even more. قضيت يومًا من أجمل أيام رحلتي في لبنان مع شركة Lebanon Tours and Travels، وكان السائق فادي فعلاً وجهه خير على الرحلة. من أول لحظة شعرت بالراحة في تعامله – إنسان خلوق، لبناني أصيل، ويشرح لك الطريق كأنك مع صديق من أهل الديرة. طوال الطريق من بيروت إلى عنجر وبعلبك، لم تمر لحظة دون أن يشاركني قصة أو معلومة عن قرية أو معلم. وخصوصًا في قلعة عنجر، توقف وشرح لي تاريخها بأسلوب بسيط وممتع، حتى شعرت أنني أعيش المكان لا أزوره فقط. السيارة كانت تويوتا كورولا، نظيفة جدًا، مريحة، والتكييف ممتاز – مثالية ليوم طويل. وفادي كان دقيقًا في الوقت، وملتزم بالبرنامج بروح خفيفة من دون استعجال. شمل البرنامج زيارة بعلبك، عنجر، حجر الحبلى، واختتمنا الجولة بصفيحة بعلبكية ولبن لذيذ جدًا. شعرت بأن هذه الرحلة لم تكن مجرد سياحة، بل فرصة لاكتشاف جانب دافئ وعميق من لبنان. لا ملاحظات لدي، وأنصح بصدق بهذه الخدمة، خصوصًا مع فادي – شخص محترم، خدمته راقية، وتعامل يخلّيك تحب البلد أكثر.

5.00The Baalbek ruins are impressive, with huge stone columns and ancient temples that make it seem like a trip back to Roman times. The presentations by park staff were clear and informative. Lunch was delicious and authentic Lebanese, and Mr. Hassan, the guide, was also interesting and funny, and the whole trip was full and relaxing. The Anjar ruins are slightly less landscaped and Ksara can taste wine.

5.00Wow! This was a great day! The sites were stunning and the drive there was scenic with gorgeous mountains and waterfalls on the route. Of course the food was delicious, people are wonderful, and the hitory is fascinating. I'm so grateful I came and appreciated the small group sizes. 10 out of 10! Highly recommended!
