Evora
Its well-preserved historic center is one of the richest in monuments in Portugal, earning it the epithet City-Museum. In 1986, the city's historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Cathedral of Evora (Se Catedral de Evora)
The Évora Cathedral has been classified as a National Monument since 1907. Despite being started in 1186 and consecrated in 1204, this granite cathedral was only completed in 1250.

5.00An incredible day, adapted to my conditions, broken foot. We visited vineyard and olive landscapes and a beautiful visit to Monsaraz. A tour of Arraiolos, Évora and a lot of history about the region and this beautiful country. The company of Diogo was amazing, always very dedicated and concerned with our well-being.

5.00We had a fabulous day trip to Évora with our very personable and knowledgeable guide Diogo. We were able to tailor the trip as we went and as well as seeing the sites of Evora ( Roman ruins and chapel of Bones were particularly arresting) we were able to fit in an excellent wine tasting at Cartuxa winery nearby. Diogo was a great guy and was able to teach me much about the history and politics of Portugal 🇵🇹 in one day 👍

5.00An amazing experience for those who like history and are interested in learning more about Évora and the country itself. Diogo is a very knowledgeable guide, so we used every moment to ask a lot of questions :). And he answered all of them with a lot of interesting facts. He even suggested a very nice local food (black pork) that we got to try for the first time. Awesome! Thank you, Diogo, for such an amazing tour last month ! :) We hope to have you as a guide again when we return to Portugal :)

5.00Excellent tour with extreme knowledge of history. You can see items throughout history starting with the Roman's to today. Went to the cork factory and got incredible souvenir and tour. Also added a wine tour. We enjoyed this tour and highly recommended it.

5.00This is a private tour without the private tour cost. Diogo was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of everything we saw on this tour, and also discussed other places we had already seen previously on our vacation, and things we were going to see after this tour. It made for a wonderful day with him, especially since we (more so my husband) are such history buffs. We became fast friends with Diogo and even booked another tour with him. We even tried to cancel a tour (unsuccessfully) that we had booked with another company in order to take it with Diogo instead. If you like an interactive historical tour with a knowledgeable, passionate guide for history, Diogo is the guy for you.
