Taman Ayun Temple

This is the royal temple of the Mengwi Empire built in 1634 by the King of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Putu. The temple was built as a family temple to deified ancestors. It is set on the land which is surrounded by a large fish pond and appears as if it is drifting on water. It features a multi storied roof and Balinese architecture.

Ulun Danu Bratan

The drive will go to the first temple called Ulun Danu Temple. It is a temple floating on the famous lake of Beratan. It is a very important temple of water to worship the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Lake Beratan as a main source irrigation in central Bali.

This itinerary could have been planned better. We were able to see 3 of the 4 places on the list in about 10 hours of which we were driving for about 7. We started the journey in Nusa dua. Tanah Lot and the rice terraces were wonderful. The driver was fine.

Yande is a an excellent tour guide. He went out of the way to ensure a pleasant experience for us including my older parents. He was very patient with all our questions about the local customs and culture. Highly recommend asking for Yande by name

Great time here seeing the sights trying to understand their type of Hinduism. Still working on it. The rice Terrance’s are fantastic viewing.

The tour was absolutely amazing and we would recommend it to any group that wants to do it all. The locations that we were taken to lived up to the hype and we walked away with so many memories. It was only made better by the expertise of Wayan Suyasa, our tour guide for the day. We all felt safe during the trip and knew that we were being taken care of by professionals.

Gus was my guide and was very good. His driving was amazing. His English was also very good. He was informative and never rushed the tour stops. I was very pleased with the temples we saw ..truly awesome. Gus answered all my questions about Bali . So I would highly recommend this tour
