  Ismael Paredes is a delightful person and easy to spend a day with. He was on time to pick us up at the airport, and did his best to keep our busy day on schedule while also providing us with options. Ismael is very well informed and communicates enthusiastically about his country, answering all our questions. Quito drivers are fairly aggressive, but I felt safe with Ismael's driving. When we come back to South America we will seek out Ismael for any of our activities.

  Ismael did a wonderful job combining history, culture & a great variety of interesting sites in Quito. Our lunch stop gave us great original Ecuador cuisine & awesome views of Plaza Grande. I highly recommend this tour & awesome guide, Ismael.

  Ismael was a wonderful tour guide! He was knowledgeable and had a great personality. He was accommodating to our individual needs. This city tour covered so many things we wanted to experience. We had a delicious lunch, too. Definitely would recommend this tour with Ismael!!!

  Ismael Paredes was the best guide ever! We were very lucky to have him for 2 full days of touring. He took us to Mindo, where we visited a hummingbird sanctuary and a butterfly preserve, as well as riding a cable car over a gorge and then hiking to a beautiful waterfall. Along the way he took us to a fabulous restaurant with outdoor dining and superb local food. We also got to tour a local chocolate factory and sample the delightful products. The next day he met us at our hotel and took us on a fascinating walking tour of Quito's historic center, including a visit to the cathedral where we climbed up to the tower, and the golden church, and the Franciscan monastery, and another delicious lunch at a characteristic restaurant. We even got to visit the very interesting local market, where he introduced us to a fruit vendor who allowed us to sample many kinds of exotic fruits. We could not have had two better, more exciting and fun-filled days in Mindo and Quito than we had with Ismael! He even took pictures of us and sent them to us - wonderful memories to treasure always.

  We had a wonderful day exploring Quito. Ishmael was a super flexible guide who was knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He adjusted the itinerary so that we had clearer weather and visibility at the top of the cable car. The view was simply spectacular. We had a great visit to a local market in town. We enjoyed a walk about at the Basilica and around Old Town. The lunch spot was fantastic and featured amazing local dishes. We closed the day with a visit to the equator.   We really enjoyed this tour. We were able to go at our own pace and personalize what we saw. Ishmael, our guide was delightful and knowledgable. His vehicle was very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour and guide.

  Ishmael was an incredible guide. He communicated with me before our tour to introduce himself and ask if I had any questions. We spent a busy day at a relaxing pace around Quito and I learned some of the history and culture facts. He was vey knowledgeable and easy to talk to with excellent English. I would highly recommend him to family and friends or any looking for a small group private and personal adventure in Ecuador. It was the perfect way to begin my trip!
