5.00Over a month on from our wine tour and some of the details are starting to fade from memory. Others, however, will stay with us for a long time. The knowledge and genuine friendliness of Fito, Rebecca and Robert. Their lovely dog, who will never know how close he was to being spirited back to the UK. The amazing wineries, with their deep cellars, long histories and fascinating artefacts. The sumptuous lunch and our less than successful but hilarious attempts to drink wine 'like a native'. The unexpected personal touch at the end. (We haven't opened it yet, choosing instead to wait for a special occasion. Which is odd, as reaching 6pm generally counts as a special occasion in this household.) Not least, of course, the wonderful selection of Riojas, each seemingly more delicious than the last. Yes, a fantastic day all round.

5.00Rebeca was always responsive and generous in sharing information before the trip. She was also patient and accommodating towards our various requests, which made the experience very special. Highly recommend!
Rioja like a native is a "must-do" experience!!!

5.00Rioja like a native was an amazing experience. Robert took us to a few vineyards/wineries. He was very informative. Then for the finale, Robert took us to his home that he shares with Rebecca. We had an amazing lunch overlooking the vineyards of Rioja. Both Rebecca and Robert were so amazing and welcoming. Besides learning about the individual wines of the region, we also learned about the people of Rioja. I highly recommend Rioja like a native with Robert and Rebecca.

5.00My husband and I (English speakers from the US) had such an amazing time with Robert and Rebeca (and their dog, Taino!!!). Could not recommend booking an experience with them more. Booking the tour was a breeze and we felt confident and super well informed leading up to the day. We were staying in San Sebastián and Rebeca arranged a taxi for us to and from there (~two hours). The day was not one we will ever forget, and we thought the price was fair and 100% worth every penny. They clearly have long-standing relationships in the area and are a wealth of knowledge both about the region and the wine. Was a huge plus that it was just such a pleasure to be in their company. The cherry on the top for us was of course getting to know their sweet dog at the end of the day (which I’m sure is entirely optional if you are not a dog fan). The personal touches from the trip were incomparable, and we cannot wait to visit the region again so we can take another tour. We still use the tips and tricks they taught us about Rioja. Thank you so much to both Robert and Rebeca!!!

5.00Thank you so much to Fito, Robert, and Rebeca (and Taino too!) for a lovely experience. This was my first time traveling internationally and specifically venturing out from the usual larger major cities that a first timer otherwise would sequester himself in. Needless to say, I was quite nervous trying to know a bit more about Rioja wine without looking like a fool. Not only did I get a chance to increase my knowledge of Spanish wine and its winemaking process, but most importantly, I got to experience a bit of the culture and ancient history for myself through the tours, something that I wouldn't have been able to see or do here in dusty old United States. Now if I come back to La Rioja, which I plan to do, I have a bit more know-how of this region thanks to this tour and this team. ¡Me alegraste el día!

5.00What a great experience! We just competed four more days on the Camino Frances with a two full day tour of the Rioja Wine Region! Had a blast! Tour guide, Fito, was super knowledgeable and really appreciated our conversations and his insights between stops! A+! And loved our dinner together as a larger group on our second day. What a great way to end two days touring Rioja wineries! You will not be disappointed!

5.00Fito was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about wine and the region. He was very professional and nice. Rebecca, the owner, and her husband were amazing. We had a private lunch at their home and it was just amazing to experience the real Rioja region. This trip exceeded our expectations !! Highly recommend it

5.00We booked a private wine tour with Rioja Like A Native, and it turned out to be one of our favorite days of the trip. The communication leading up to it was clear, friendly, and super helpful. On the day of the tour, our hosts were warm and welcoming, and it felt like spending the day with friends who really love the region. The wineries we visited were family-owned and unique, with excellent wines and great stories behind them. Rebecca also added a few little surprises along the way, which made everything feel extra thoughtful and personal. We left with some great bottles and even better memories. I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting Rioja. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

5.00Book this tour! We have done a ton of private wine tours on our vacations and none of them hold a candle to this tour. The wineries were fantastic but Rebecca welcoming us into her home and serving lunch and holding another tasting was unlike anything we have ever experienced. If we are back in Rioja we will absolutely book this tour again!
