5.00We had, what can only be described as, a magical day with our tour guide Jon. Jon is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful in his tour. We went in without many expectations and by the end of the day had fallen in love with the beauty of Iceland. We even passed Jon’s business card along to our hotel front desk (the Retreat Hotel) with a great reference for others staying there. By the end of the day we felt like we had a new friend in Jon. Definitely worth it.

5.00I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Jon. Normally I plan our international trips myself and my husband drives while I navigate, but with the late November shorter days and possible bad weather, we decided to go the guided route. No amount of my planning could have equaled Jon’s knowledge, experience, great photo-taking skills, and fun demeanor. We did one day along the Southern Coast and one day along the Golden Circle. We saw all the major spots, plus ones off the beaten trail. Throughout both days Jon answered all our questions and sprinkled in information that helped us really feel we captured the culture of Iceland. Use Jon-you will not regret it!!

5.00Ideal to have a private tour and avoid the large buses. Our guide Siggi was absolutely wonderful and was flexible about the itinerary showing us places we didn’t expect to see. A highlight of our Norway/Iceland trip. Beautiful scenery plus history lesson. We appreciate Viator’s payment scheduling and cancellation policy.

5.00Egill is exceptionally knowledgeable about Iceland’s past and present. His tour included a scenic drive alongside Þingvallavatn and other fascinating points of interest (I contend the inventor of geothermal hydroponics should have a holiday or at least a prize named in their honor) in addition to the “must-see” stops along the Golden Circle. Whether your interest is Viking history, natural beauty, or locations from your favorite TV and movies, Egill is your man!

5.00We booked this one day Great Circle of Iceland tour at the back end of a cruise ending in Reykjavík. Jon picked us up at our hotel in a roomy Toyota Land Cruiser and we covered all the great sites in Northern Iceland. This included the geothermal steam fields, the blue river, the tomato soup hothouse, the Gullfoss waterfalls, the geysers, and many more wonderful places. The place where the tectonic plates are separating was amazing. In our two week trip including beautiful Norway fjords this has been our favorite day!

5.00This tour was amazing! The car was very comfortable and we could do everything on our own pace. We learned so much about iceland and we saw amazing places. The driver made beautiful pictures of us, so we have great memories :-). He was very kind and attentive and made sure that we had the best experience possible. The lunch on the tomato farm was fantastic.

5.00This was a terrific tour! Our guide was personable and we were able to hit all the major spots. We were even more impressed that they were able to arrange a tour on super short notice. Our original plans for the day were canceled the evening before, so we booked this tour with our fingers crossed they'd actually show up, and they did. Highly recommend!
