The distance between Guatemala City and Lake Atitlan is 140kms and road time might take from 3 to 3:30hrs, this will depend on traffic or maintenance on the highway. In order to have a more pleasant drive, we highly recommend (when doable) to book your shuttle between 9am to 2pm. Along the road there are several good restaurants with small handicraft exhibits, ideal to stop for some minutes, stretch legs, drink good coffee, use facilities or do a little shopping if you´re interested in local products. Before we get to our destination, we do a final stop at the beautiful lake viewpoint. If you book a hotel at one of the little villages across the lake, don´t forget to ask in which dock our driver has to drop you off. By land we can only get to the following towns: Panajachel, San Antonio Palopo and Santa Catarina Palopo

1.00I felt unsafe. I regret having to leave this review but felt our driver was traveling way too fast and I was worried the entire trip. It was one of the scariest experiences I have ever had and I experienced car sickness getting constantly jerked around. He also was texting and on the phone. My son was picked up by a different driver the following day and only had a positive experience booking this same trip.

5.00It was a great experience. The driver was on time to pick us up. We were offered a stop during the trip. They were safe and courteous drivers. The stated trip time was correct. We would use them again.
Unreliable and poor customer service

2.00Our flight was cancelled and we were switched to a later flight and when we informed the company of this change their customer service did not provide any assistance whatsoever. They could not adjust the ride and they could not provide us with a new driver, and then they only offered us a 50% refund. We had to scramble to find a new service the day of our flight. This was extremely unprofessional and I do not recommend for tourists who are looking for peace of mind on a travel day

5.00We had a comfortable and efficient trip. Our driver, Andres, drove safely but got us to our destination as quickly as possible. Even though our flight was delayed, the company was responsive and understanding. Would definitely recommend!

5.00This experience was very easy. Saul was my driver and he was amazing - he was waiting at the airport when I landed. The instructions were clear and I received several WhatsApp messages guiding my process until I finally met Saul.
